    It seems that the people who hate Ritchie the most, hate him because they don't understand his prankster bent. The less they understand it, the more he pranks them. Just go with it, and he'll likely leave you alone. Besides, they all got to work with an incredibly good musician and songwriter. They are among the few.

    Ritchie's view of humour or what is funny in general is different than the rest of the world. Also the way that he tells stories is very dry and he really doesn't show much If any emotion. The stories about his time in Purple are absolutely hilarious although it doesn't seem that Ian's memories of Ritchie's time in Purple are quite the same. I would love to hear Ritchie's book on audio with him telling the story.
