"You've come to die, jester..." I knew that line would fit Xanthus VERY well

You know what I like about the song... 1. It has the same time length, ending it at 5:33 2. Near the ending you can be able to hear The Lost To Darkness ending piano, which is a really good touch. 3. Xanthus is there instead of Xenophanes. 4. The beginning dialogue is still kept in the song but slightly remaked. 5. It still kept the same beat and feel just like the original.
  • Love how menacing Xanthus looks in the thumbnail like he's saying "You've done fucked up"
  • I’m gonna be so happy if we get a Breaking Point remembrance mix, that’s my most favorite nominal song so far.

This sets an interesting precedent. For one, Majin isn't here to save Sonic from Xanthus, since Xanthus is simply not possessing Sonic like Xain was. So this leaves an interesting question: Why is Majin here? The answer could simply be that it's a RunBack of an older song and it's not that deep, but I can't help to be curious. The best answer I can give is, like how Eggman summoned Pico in The Fighters, after a brief show of resistance from Eggman, he summons Majin to help him even the odds, or buy time so he could escape or rally Tails and Knuckles. Majin saying that he's "Come to bargain" may have been his attempt to reduce conflict, saying he wants to bargain for the souls' freedom, but Xanthus is far too prideful to let some clown waltz into his own thrown room and tell him to relinquish his rightful possessions. So, they battle. It's likely not as intense as the push against Xain was, since Majin has little motivation to try as hard. Still, I'm very interested to see where this goes, and while "Breaking Point" is a good one, I'm most excited to see what Nom will do for "Old Habits". If it's anything like this, it's finna be another BANGER. Great job Nom! Stay safe and keep up the good work!

WE MAKING IT OUT OF MARBLE ZONE WITH THIS ONE, NOM!! Christ, How is it physically possible to cook THIS FUCKING *HARD*?!
  • I don't know why, but this song sounds like a dual between the past and future, with Majin being the past and Xanthus being the future.

The day Nominal stops cooking is the day we stop eating good. In all seriousness, great stuff. Your content consistently delivers, and only inspires me to do the same. Many great creators out there, and each inspire me to strive a little harder and figure out this FL studio stuff out.

I love when Majin said "I've come to bargain" and bargained all over the place.

If I had a dollar for every time nominal cooked I would be rich enough to end world hunger
  • @eddiehorgan6178
If I had a nickel for each time Nominal Dingus took one of my favorite songs of his and remade it to be even better, I would have two nickels. Not a lot, but its weird that it happened twice. First Otherside to Otherworld, and now Lost to Time to Lost Our Way. Goes incredibly hard, great job as always Nom!❤
  • Glad you’re making remixes/remakes of your old songs, I’d kill for a Breaking Point and Old Habits cover
  • @SAckTheGoof

  • @Void549
You truly know how to inspire an audience with your songs Nominal, you really do.
  • Holy crap, that reference to Silver Lining (Xanthus Vs Sonic's song) fit in really well!
  • @ErenYeeter
Alt title: Majin and Xanthus have a relatively short discussion 2
  • @galaxyknight2869
Great to see a fave come back. Majin's voice really misses the OG's bitcrush a bit, and Xanthus could maybe use a different style of effects, maybe a different kind of crush or distortion, as the wet grumbly feel is a bit weird to hear in this more techno style of instrumental in a song. But overall, a great comeback.
