It so stupid how Rockstar didn't want you to go to New Austin.

You should've just gone to Beecher's Hope with John and built his barn and live together.

For everyone worried about herbalist 9, you don't need to get the New Austin herbs to get the LOTE outfit. Just get all the herbs from the accessible locations, SAVE GAMBLER CHALLENGES FOR LAST. When you get to the final challenge "win 3 hands of poker in a row", replay the "Fine Night of Debauchery" mission, you automatically win the last two hands, then replay the chapter 2 mission "Who Is Not Without Sin", you automatically win the first hand. You will get the notification that Gambler 10 is complete. Finish the mission as usual, then when you are returned to the regular game you will get the notification that the LOTE outfit is in your inventory. I can verify this works as I did it myself without ever getting the New Austin herbs. Unless this was patched also.

At this point R* should just patch the ability to go to most of new Austin as Arthur its Understandable no blackwater but the rest should be free gsme 🙄🙄

I've done at least 25 attempts where I made it to New Austin with the buggy, but only because I kept adding to what I wanted to do all in one clean run & because I enjoyed the challenge of it. I learned how to improve so much over those attempts. I recorded my successes & failures to analyze what I was doing right & wrong. I'm not a completionist, so I only went for the 4 Herbs, the Tatanka Bison because it was the only Trinket I wanted of the Legendary Animals, & the Turtle Shell Trinket (buggy to the carry Pronghorn method) I done all above a few times successfully in one run. What I learned: Turn the camera auto level off. If getting a Bounty concerns you, put on a mask or you may need a different outfit as well. I'd suggest using the bridge to the Northwest of Saint Denis. Only target a buggy with one occupant. I hijacked the buggies right at the West end of the bridge, immediately jump off & rope them as soon as you can, use dead eye. Sometimes they will stop being red color/witness as soon as you hogtie them... if so, cut them free. If not, carry the previous buggy driver under the bridge & dump them so they don't drown, but are gasping for air. It doesn't matter if other witnesses see you (disguised), you won't get a Bounty because of them, even if the area turns red. Just get out of the area with thr buggy ASAP after you dump the buggy driver under the bridge. It's significantly easier going through Beacher's Hope when the second Javier Escuela mission shows on the map just Northwest of Blackwater. About 50% of the time, I wasn't even shot at by the Pinkertons, but it's critical to keep your camera angle low & looking slightly towards the right, so they wouldn't spawn in front. As you cross the bridge to Thieve's Landing & after it's ALWAYS best to keep the camera zoomed out the furthest, keep it higher above the buggy & looking from the right back corner of the buggy. It's impossible to get shot from above while traveling, even when your head is completely & continuously exposed if you are whipping your horse to always go max speed. That is unless you run into objects to tilt the buggy way up. Camera angle is obviously critical at all times. I found getting onto the buggy by far the most challenging part (where I died most). As I got out of the buggy, I kept the camera angle lower, but not too low and looking kinda from the back right corner of the buggy. I used the back window & the middle riser support bar for reference. I centered that bar to middle of the back window. When I got back on the buggy, I would lower the camera & have it so my character partially showed through the back window. It's really just a learning process, for which can be mastered.

Brooo I just went to Saint Denis to get one of those small wagons with the hole in it. Drove alllll the way to the beginning of new Austin / black water, and as soon as the Pinkerton spotted me they threw a Molotov and my vehicle and broke the wheel so I died instantly😂 wtffff man, all I’m tryna do is kill the tatanka bison to get some boots and a vest😂

Can I inspect the bones in New Austin doing this?

Yo does the Angelo Bronte, a man of honor Mission strat still work today? Thanks in advance. Im also tryna get the Jawbone Knife so I need to get to New Austin, because the epilogue is boring and Arthur is better 💪💪

Wish the left the 1st glitch alone. That was the best one. So irritating trying to get flowers or bones now

You still able to hunt legendary animals during the Angelo Brontë mission.

Thanks for your advice！I have been trying to early access to new Austin as Arthur for my first three playthrough! Your tips are by far the most completed! I am now on my forth playthrough and this time I play it with rampage trainer to not get wanted and be invincible to teleport anywhere including New Austin

Hey man, do you know if with the angelo bronte method you can also cross the Mexico river?, i´ve been running with john in all new austin, but i´m gessing if this method could also disable that the river drains all your stamina

If you ride their with John can you explore cities and their stagecoaches? Maybe after you discover them then you could fast travel there? That’s my thought at least, I’ve been trying to get there by myself but get shot down by the snipers.

Can you still use the general stores in armadillo and tumbleweed when using the buggy or animal body
