@Ronny Dahl your editing was next level, camera work was exceptional. I’ve watched this 3 times already to enjoy the whole process. Excellent mate! 11/10.

Killed the alternator in the first proper muddy hole I drove through in my new V8 Troopy, about 2 weeks after I got it, so I feel your pain, took it out and got it working again with a WD40 refurb but I have constant anxiety about it now, and changing it again - pig of a job!

Finally another trip video! More like this please.

Pretty brave tackling the Brunswick and Holland tracks with all the rain we've had down here lately....... but at least it makes the beach sand much easier to drive on! 👌 Goodonya for having a crack and showing the conditions of these popular local destinations 👍

i liked this episode.not just a car review.well maybe a really well hidden car review.

Love the bar! And I enjoy how your switching between the grenadier and the 70 series love what you’ve done with both!
  • Still so jealous we don’t get a ‘proper’ LandCruiser in the States…

I personally like the bar. A bit bare, but then it's less weight that a 'full' one. It also looks like it's meant to be there and totally normal.
  • @jeanmichaelc1
I have to admit, all I want to see in action is the Grenadier that's parked at the back
  • We did the Holland Track end of May when we came back from Brisbane. When we were halfway through, it started to rain. The Track became very slippery and water everywhere. Not a much as you had. We managed to come through with our Kimberley Kamper in tow but needed the winch once. A great trip.

I have those 7" Hardkorr lights Ronny and absolutely love them.
  • Agree with you on the Offroad Animal bar Ronny. I'm personally not a fan of the new 70s front in either stock or bar work but you've made it look pretty good and its growing on me
  • @TheOuboet
Definitely the best bullbar I've seen for the new 70.
  • @simondva1
Awesome video Ronny, thanks a lot!

Hey Ronny just on the v8 alternator mud thing. We have run a fleet of 2.8 Hilux’s at my work for about 5 years now. Plenty of mud and water driving due to the scope of work. We’ve found the 2.8s reliably have starter motors fail around the 100,000km mark. Behaves like a low/flat battery. Other than that, they’ve handled the tough love quite well

Great vid mate. I really enjoyed it! Thanks for the info…
  • @stilley78
I've got an Offroad Animal Predator bar on my Suzuki Jimny without the hoops, with the same two front recovery points. I am really happy with mine!

Great video Ronny, love the simplistic kit, I like the bar but would opt for one that covered the whole front; head-lights as well.
