I think I can clarify the lazy cancer comment! This is the line that made me completely sure this was translated from Chinese—a common internet phrase is 懒癌晚期, which literally translates to “late-stage lazy cancer”, and it’s literally just used self-deprecatingly to say that you’re a lazy person. I don’t know why they attempted to translate this, but content farms like this…nobody understands them, man. Chinese people clown on them too even when it’s in Chinese.
