As a queer Muppet nerd, this is the perfect video for me personally, but I hope you enjoy it as well! This video is subtitled, but you will also be able to find a google docs link to the complete transcript down below that is free to access.
Below you will likewise find some links to LGBTQIA+ Organizations to support if you are able to, and a link to the Pride section of ToughPigs, the largest Muppet Fan Network in the world. Remember that the reason we have Pride Month is because in many part of the world, queer people are not yet free to live as they wish within their identity, and we are still fighting every day for our rights to simply exist. This is also why characters like Pogey and Wembley matter – because representation makes us seen, shows even to our youngest that it is okay and normal to be queer. This was absolutely fascinating i had no idea there were so many queer muppets!! The jacket came out amazing and the video was lovely to listen to while working on some embroidery of my own!
