Man, just when I'd almost calmed down from Evelien's video, Sean comes here with his own upload and gives me a double-decker heart attack. Watching my childhood inspiration play a game that I worked on is absolutely unreal! I wouldn't have been so interested in games without your old let's plays. Now we've gone full circle! I always love when two people upload the same game play but from each others perspectives because there's so many funny moments from one perspective vs the other. Definitely watched Evelien play this already and still cracked up watching Sean play it as well. 😂

Date collabs are genuinely the cutest thing. I love the combo of Evelien's calm, adorableness and Seans chaotic adorableness. My heart feels full. Sure, they were screaming while running from that modern art project monster, but it was very entertaining.

54:24 I like that Jack comments on there being two “primary” versions of the backrooms: the Kane Pixels version, where there is just one infinite series of yellow rooms with strange entities in it, and the community wiki version that this game appears to be based on, with multiple levels, items like the almond water and a few select entities on each level. I don’t think there needs to be any competition over which “version” is better, because they’re both just creative interpretations of the same liminal concept.
