Grammatically Incorrect Script (Someone Requested this) So it's night two and an Advertizement for FuntimeSoda blares throught the vents I mash to see whats moving in and I try to play a sound to distract the beast. He's right at the entrance I turn to deter him with my light. Hearing nothing I franitacally recheck my scanner and BAM failure. Sound Familiar? Cause this scenario happened with everyone from DAgames to Matpat and even Markiplier the community named king of FNAF, and possibly even you ended up in this situation, but one common thread is that none of these players called this scenario unfair. WHY? (FNAF stands for Five night) To find our answer on why no one complains about that moment being unfair we should analyze this game's systems in its three phases from day one to the moment in day two and judge off of that. The first phase of each day is the Pizzarea phase in which, you buy different items to increase the amount of money you earn at the end of each day. With items that net you more cash having a higher chance of getting you sued or having an animatronic hiding inside. (show springduck image) On top of this you can play mini games and get sponsors to net you more cash. Most player on their first day will spend all their money and won't buy anything risky, becuase they don't quite yet know how the game works. After this comes the defense phase which is where you spend most of the game. In this phase you have too keep yourself from getting killed by these friendly faces (show all four anim) while completing work tasks from your computer. To keep the beasts away you can scan for their movement and play a sound that lures them towards a location, but what you have to note is that you can either scan for the animitronics OR do your work tasks not both at once. Finnaly you can point your light down either vent to keep an animitronic from entering, but you can't also finish your work tasks while doing so. Only when all your tasks are completed the phase ends. On the first day since the player probably didn't buy anything too risky there should be no animitronics in the vents, but they will learn that you can increase the speed of the work tasks for a hefty price. Along with the information that sponsors play 5 second unavoidable ads on your computer. After day one's practice round comes the Final phase of the day the salvage phase. Where you can delibrately allow a murderous animatronic to enter your establishment for payment that can be used to defend against it. Most people accept the first salvage if not out of curiosity than becuase the feeling that you know the beasts will find a way in regardless. On day two the player probably gets more riskly knowing they need money to help defend against Mr. Molten Freddy here. Even buying a second sponsor. In the next phase they check molten Freddy's location seeing he is far away from your computer. With their money strategically saved the player buys every upgrade possible and feels prideful for strategizing how to have work go three times as quickly. After testing the new toys the player checks the beast's location again and... It's nearly here a small shock to the prideful player. They quickly go to play a sound and try deter the beast with the light but, an ad for FuntimeSoda covers your screen. Immediately resorting to plan B the player defends with their light to see. Thay can't. They can't move during an ad! Something they should have realized day one but were to mesmerized with what was going on. It hits them that they just bought two of something they didn't fully analyize. And both plan A. The sound and plan B. The light have failed they have no plan, are guilted for their pride, and have about 2 seconds of advertizement to think of something. This game has caused the player to be confident and prideful to frantic and terrified in less than 30 seconds of gameplay. The player doesn't know what to do maybe they try to use they light on the left vent for a few seconds but in a state of anxiety they may even think the foe may be at the right vent by now or somewhere else unkown. the broken player frantically searches for any sign of the enemy and BAM there he is. This doesn't feel unfair becuase every action from not knowing what ads do, not understanding the mechanics, working when you should have scanned, and even letting Molten Freddy there in the first place was of your own free will. Starting with one mistake that snowballed into a feeling of terror. This wasn't a random jumpscare it WAS YOUR FAULT. On the next playthrough of the day the player is much more cautious and even if they get through day 2 they have to pay for lawsuits making them take more risks so they don't lose. It creates this cycle of fear till the final showdown on the last day when you can finnaly end the consequences of your mistakes. And this is why I think Freddy Fazbears Pizza Simulator WORKS and before I go I just wanted to inform you that I made a second FNAF video where I explain why this game and the original are the most terrifying in the seiries. If you've already seen that then consider clicking my logo here to subscribe to my channel to be notified of my analysis of Undertale, Cuphead, and Bendy and the ink machine on my quest to finnaly answer the question of WHY they are so popular along with that coming up I post other gaming content like this. Regardless of your choice have a wonderful day and I'll catch you all next time!

WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO WATCH AN AD IN YOUR OWN RESTAURANT THE AD IS INTENDED FOR THE CUSTOMERS NOT THE BOSS
  • @ElusiveMoth5
Ever since the game's release, I have one question about this game. Why the hell are the vent covers missing/broken?? Even though the guard is aware of killer animatronics coming through said vents, they won't buy new vent covers
  • @drewbryzen5503
His voice is slowly becoming MatPat, and that’s how you know his theories are getting real
  • @cubegamebuild
“There should be no animatronics in your vent” me who got molten Freddy in first night because I bought paper pals: this is fine
  • @iggy8340
" Why you died on night 2. " Me who threw out all the animatronics because I'm a baby: hm yes good strategies
  • You can't look away from the screen while an ad plays Literally why and how.
  • @penguin7797
I didn't die on night two. I yeeted Molten Freddy back out into the alley.
  • @VGDocs
Wow, this is a really interesting insight into how this game fairly puts the player in terrifying (or purely awkward mechanical) positions. One of the best in the series imo
  • Using the motion detector and checking the right/left vent (depends on where freddy goes.) is simply like fnaf 2, once you shine the light on where freddy goes it flickers, meaning freddy has gone away making a beep noise on the motion detector.
  • The video: why you died on Night 2 Everybody who toss the shit out of Molten Freddy back out the alley: Interesting
  • @cmml8258
Honestly, with all that money, I would just fix the giant hole the vents have. Just to be clear, after reading the replies, a lot of people are saying the air wouldn't be able to get through. I'm sorry to the people who have had to explain to them but I'm gonna put it her so no one else will have to ask this... I mean put a vent cover over the holes, they come built in with gaps to let the air flow through
  • @jjoshu_a
"Failure. Sound familiar?" Me: Yes, yes it does.
  • @redpie2002
So the key for winning is just: hearing in which vent the animatronic is and looking at that vent for 6 seconds, avoiding buying the adds, and not keeping your vent noise too much.
  • @Trevzom
I played through to night 5 in this game barely dying, before I realized I was wearing my headphones backwards. No clue how I survived for so long looking down the wrong vent.
  • @guestb6319
X2 speed is ben shapiro arguing with someone about how hard night 2 was
  • @jasonlara5069
This game is honestly harder than previous fnaf games in my opinion. Not only you focusing hearing and make risky moves, the jumpscares are unpredictable and more effective cause there isn't a sign where you know your dead.
