Shannon is sensitive. Skip and Steven A always went at it and none of um caught feelings. Shannon called Kwame a bum and buss, calls Dwight Howard name, made fun of Westbrook, made fun of a number of players but the minute someone called him out he wanna cry? Nahhhh keep that same energy!

Shannon told a story on the show, that he was at an autograph signing event, and one of the fans asked him to sign a picture with the line: “Skip doesn’t know shit.” Skip laughed and said that Shannon should have signed it. Shannon said, “No way would I sign that. I’m not going to bite the hand that feeds me.” That was about 2 years ago…and it told me everything about Shannon that I needed to know. Shaq is right.

He has said that if Shannon doesn't knock off his nonsense of playing the victim that he will go absolutely nuclear on him and let people know what has really went on for years. Sometimes you can be loyal to a fault. Shannon thought he and Skip were good until Shannon called out Tom Brady and Skip tried to belittle him on national television. Shannon learned a lesson but I'm sure he's thankful for the things Skip did for him.

Chris Carter was on track to be replaced without any gripe with another host because he could only preface everything with how many years he played in the league. Many things are learnable through observation. And constantly prefacing everything gets to be like the old saying of if you have to keep telling everyone that you are the leader, then you're not the leader. Skip resorted to a cheap shot. Yeah friends got at it 100% and stay friends. But they don't resort to cheap shots.
