Always bothered me as a kid that Thor had his entire sprite made but wasn't playable, the only thing I knew Thor from growing up was his appearance in the Hulk cartoon.

MvC1 had so many characters who only appeared as assists in the MvC franchise. Imagine what they’d be like if they were playable in MvC2 or 3.

Having cyclops, magneto and my girl pyslocke locked behind as assists in MvsC 1 was a big mistake. Should have put them as secret characters at least over gold war machine, red venom and orange hulk
