  • Me after seeing Jesse playing TSW again: It’s been 84 years
  • You finally sailed QE2. And you undertook probably the longest voyage in game without sinking. Minus a couple scrapes you got yourself into, that was not too bad. Now if you only used your night-vision binoculars, then you'd be golden. :) 👍
  • @Loucap_
Jesse : We haven't checked the qe2 in a while Majestic II, Homeric and Oceanic II: you never checked us jesse
  • The real longest voyage of the game is the "world wide voyage" starting from Southampton then going to all then main ports but before you arrive in Cherbourg you will also stop in the mini ports and when you do dock in Cherbourg you end the trip by returning in Southampton. That is the longest voyage in Tiny Sailors World
  • Loved the video @Jesse Gillett! Can't wait for the next video of Stormworks: Build and Rescue, Search and Destroy DLC man! Convoy to the Arctic with Coal and other Goods with Ozzer, Railroad and the rest of the crew and your Fans as well please?

I have many happy memories from sailing on QE2 as a child. She was a second home to me and my parents over the years. Funny you mention she feels like being in-between an Ocean Liner and Cruise Ship, given QE2 was designed as a hybrid Ocean Liner/Cruise Ship although she was always more Ocean Liner than Cruise Ship. Many of her contemporaries were designed as hybrids too, such as SS Rotterdam, MV Kungsholm, MV Vistafjord, MV Sagafjord, and the Soviet "Poet" class (including Aleksandr Pushkin/Marco Polo). QE2's dark hull was actually a charcoal grey specifically called "Federal Grey" for most of her seagoing life and it was never black. Regarding you sailing QE2 through a storm in your Stormworks video on her, it reminded me of sailing through a Force 9 gusting Force 10 in the Bay of Biscay on our second trip with the amount of pitching. I remember sliding up and down the mattress of my bunk bed which was parallel to the side of the ship in our cabin in her bow. On that occasion we had left Southampton 7 hours late, as we ate dinner at Midnight in the Mauretania Restaurant, due to the ship's arrival being delayed by the same stormy weather. We made up the delay and arrived on time in Vigo, Spain despite the rough weather. My Dad was one of only two passengers out on deck at one point in that Bay of Biscay passage and he was getting soaked by spray from the bow digging into the heavy seas while standing at the aft end of Boat Deck around 800 feet back from the bow! When she was pitching a lot it was possible to jump multiple steps of the forward-most passenger stairway, "A" Stairway, if you timed it right. However I only got as far as the Stairway entrance before having to go back to the cabin to continue being seasick every two minutes and praying to the porcelain gods! Luckily I'm not seasick anymore as an adult, and just as well given I work at sea training to be a deck officer, a childhood dream come true started by visiting QE2's bridge while we sailed through the Bay of Biscay on a subsequent occasion when it was calm, warm, and sunny at nearly 28.5 knots! QE2's speed was always exhilarating whether experiencing it from the cabin portholes low down in the ship (felt like being on a speedboat) or out on the open decks or watching the speed climb on the cabin TV. It's a shame such speeds are now history on the likes of QM2 and the cruise ships. She was fast enough to water ski behind, not that you'd necessarily have wanted to do so given her propeller wash. BTW: I am on the Bright Sun Films Discord server if you wanted to chat QE2 and other ships more in the ship chat text channel.
  • Next time you should pick the United States because it has a speed of 39 knots, has a very long range, has a capacity of 1928 and a cargo capacity of 158 and all of that is without ANY UPGRADES
  • R.I.P that little boat And this is a great Video 😀👍
  • Hi you are the best love the videos I done that with titanic 2 from Southampton to New York and Cherbourg
  • The beginning of the video was hilarious lol. As always great video and keep up the great work!
  • @O3-O1
10:39 the people will be crushed by the ship because it's listing their way i just subbed
  • Jesse, the arctic express has been updated, you should check it out, the video is awesome!
  • Nice, and man it's long to go by ship. Even if you upgrade the SS United States speed to 43 knots, it is still the longest trip EVER! Also when are you going to check out the surgeon update in roblox britannic?
