I left a toxic home at 16, dropped out of highschool, and basically spiraled for many years after that. I became pregnant at 21, had a beautiful daughter that changed my whole life ! She became my whole reason for being/existing. I’ll I wanted was a better life for her. I became the mother I never had. I gave her everything I ever wanted as a child. And I did that! She left for a big university last year… she wants to be a doctor one day. I have no doubt she will succeed in everything she does and wants in life! This is my love song to her! I fought for so many years… went to war with myself and life. I am a little lost without her. More then a little!

Love this song every time I hear it. It makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. I lost my partner/girlfriend in 2020 from cancer. She was 56. We had been together for 10 years. I am 66 years old and I still miss her. I guess you could say I’m still lost without her. She was my sanctuary, if that makes since. I still love and miss you Tracey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.
