  • Eddie is so sensitive and emotional with the music. Thats make such incredible music, just playing with your heart 🥹🥹
  • For those confused by the title...listen at 1:44 Billie starts talking about Eddie crying when they met in Kansas City.

I really enjoyed hearing this story. Kudos to Billie for being a Van Halen fan and understanding the contributions and incredible influence Eddie had on so many musicians.
  • Cool to know that Billie and I can say that both our first concerts were Van Halen since I saw them back in 2012 when I was 13 (and around the same age as well), Eddie was also one of my first major influences so this was a really interesting story as well

What a great segment. I saw Van Halen in Chicago during that tour and it was awesome! Kool & The Gang actually opened up for them too.
  • I met Eddie and shook his hand, I'm 6.3 and his hand drawfed mine. I could not believe how big those mitts were😅.

I used to sell guitars to Billie and we talked Van Halen a couple times. This was back in the 90's.

What Billy is saying sounds accurate. EVH was going through a rough emotional time especially during those years.

Eddie did have HUGE hands , that's why it was so easy for him to do monster stretches.
