Thank you! The salesman at Best Buy kept saying that I’d have to get the $600 sound bar versus the $400 sound bar because it has the extra HDMI ports directly on the sound bar itself. I could’ve sworn that using the HDMI arc input I would be able to get the sound from anything else I plugged into the TV. Thanks for confirming.

Wow! I was trying to get sound via our QLed Arc to our Klipsch Fives for hours before I found your video while searching for a solution. Your instructions were spot on and the sound is phenomenal now. Added bonus is we can control everything with a single remote. Thank you for posting this great tutorial!

At last......have been reading all about sounders BUT you have been the only folk who have taken the proper way to sort this all out. I have had an expensive soundbar for a week now and have not been able to use it. not one person has explained how to get the sound from the tv. toy folk deserve a high mention and all the accolades going thanks very much

Man alive.. ours was working just fine, I was trying to find out why the background soundtracks were so much louder than the dialogue and I did something to accidentally turn off the bar. Your CEC portion of the video was exactly what I was missing! Thanks so much!

Thanks man, been trying for a few hours. With you tutorial it took 20sec to fix. It was changing the t.v settings to accept the optical cable that was holding us back.
