If I'm being honest, they need to add more missions/levels to the game for it to feel fresh. The best way to do that would be to bring back playable Elites by showing Thel Vadam's POV and make the game more unique. We don't need another "Anniversary," we need a remake with something new to bring Halo back to the level it was once held at.

Instead of giving us another damn remake, they should just give us ODST 2 or a battlefield style game set in the Halo universe. But no, let's do what everyone and their mother is doing and remake a beloved classic.

The sheer amount of hopium in this. I have zero faith that 343 / Microsoft will do anything good with remaking this game or series. Its been well documented that they refuse to hire any prior Bungie devs back in, and with all the greenhorns they have at their studios, I feel they'll want to completely remake this series into the most bland, corporate "checkbox" title out there.

Ce remake (if real) barely started dev this year, but another halo game (most likely Halo 7) has been in dev since around 2021-2022

7:53 well sadly the voice actor for the Heretic Leader passed away. He was a legendary voice actor and will be missed.

Unfortunately, I recall David Scully (Johnsons Voice Actor), has expressed no interest in returning to the Character.

I think you underestimate how much adding all of this will effect how Halo CE plays. I think you're suffering from seeing things as a series of elements instead of a system.

Despite being over 20 years old, I think Halo CE's graphics still hold up to this day. they're not as realistic or crisp as modern games, but they do still look really good for a 2001 game.

Its extremely impressive to me that Bungie released Halo Reach only 3 years after Halo 3, on top of making Halo 3 ODST in between.

100% agree on the sound effects point. However I think it's also potentially possible to update these sounds to sound "better" while maintaining the soul of the original. Imagine the iconic retort of the CE sniper with a CRACK behind it
