My mom told me to never, ever throw knives into soapy water. When she was a teenager, her brother threw a couple of steak knives into the sink, and she had to do the dishes. She went to reach for the silverware and cut her hand really bad. I’m pretty sure she had to go to the hospital, and it left her with a scar.

I have a permenant scar on my palm because of a steak knife. My siblings loved to through sharp knives into murky dishwater. One night I did the dishes, I reached my hand in, and it went straight through my palm. Still have the scar 11 years later.

As a child, I…passed gas in front of the carbon monoxide monitor. Of course, nobody knew this when the monitor went off. This led to eight hours of sitting in the car across the street as my sister was throwing up pizza in our neighbor’s yard because she had the flu. It was certainly an experience.

yes omg. mold isn’t just the kind that’s visible. in anything highly porous it spreads fast. if you cut off the moldy bit, you’ll still be eating mold
