She’s crying bc her mother was dying of cancer. The interview stated her mother passed away exactly the next day after this was filmed. She also mentioned her dad had a stroke. They’re were married for over 50 years. She has a huge life and career outside of Tom Brady.

“I am living my truth, and I am not apologizing for it.”

"I can only control what I do"....no truer words said .....good woman herself....

How great it is to see a real, emotional reaction to the end of a marriage, especially from a celebrity. People need to see more authenticity from celebrities in order to understand that it's not about being perfect. ❤
  • “Eu vivo minha verdade e não peço desculpas por isso” Que palavras poderosas! Gisele é inspiradora! ❤

I relate to Giselle. I have two kids, a 12 year marriage and now I am divorcing and living alone, part time with my kids. When she broke down.. I cried to. So relatable.

Divorce doesn't ever have to be a death sentence for children or the individuals who divorce. If you can move beyond the initial shock of change you should embrace the freedom to grow and explore and expand. Love makes a family. Love of self makes a life. Bravo Gisele.

I am a divorced father of three. Divorce is always going to impact on your kids. I thought at the time much as this lady is saying, looking at the positives, but I know now down the line it hurt my kids. Big time. I realise now how selfish it was for me to break from their mother. Selfish for our kids. I can't change what's past. But I regret now the decisions I made then. They are adults now and okay. They have their own families. But it took years for them to recover from their parents splitting up. Divorce is never a good plan. I know that now.

I love Gisele and how she is genuinely herself!
  • "I'm living my truth and I'm not apologizing for it." I could not love that statement more.

She's simply incredible, love her even more after every interview.

Even for the most beautiful and financially independant woman in the world this passage is difficult.. wishing her all the strength and courage to pull through and see that the sky is bright blue..

Gisele is a transparent person, I feel that what you see is what you get. I’m Brazilian also, humble life. She had a humble beginning and kept true to it, she made a name for herself and she always kept close to her family, as we can see from the media. No matter what you do or what you have in life as power or money, once you become a mother you are a new person better person (you try)selfless and devoted, it changes everything. Love my kids. You can tell she is so dedicated as a mom and was as a wife, putting herself second for Tom. That shows humility and good values. Wish the best for her and family, specially now her mom passed away.

I like Gisele, but she speaks in self help book/pop psychology language with the result of appearing intimate and thoughtful but not really saying anything at all.

Gisele is so human, and she knows that, it is something that she makes sure to let come through whenever she's talking about anything, but she gracefully accepts and allows herself to be even more human when it comes to show her true colours. She's a phenomenal person, and she's always stayed so humble, so graceful, so true to herself and her truth, to quote herself. I'd say it's tough to live through divorce and the loss of loved ones, that is a fact, but I also see that she is true to herself even when it's not about the good stuff, and even though it's heartbreaking to know she's battling so much, she's so peaceful with life, the good, the bad, all of it, she knows that this is the way to go during dark times, and she keeps her light shining as a guide. Much love and respect for Gisele!

When she talks about realizing what you want and what you don't want...that has been one of the greatest lessons I've learned as I've gotten older, especially after having a child. There is no middle ground.
  • @anmnou
Raising children is not "putting your life on hold". It is a decision one makes to incorporate others into one's life. You can always choose not to have them.
  • @lydian.773
Well. She’s got a LOT more than most people left in this situation. Giselle will be ok. Others? It depends. She’s lucky.
