Olivia is always so grateful, and I feel that Bonnie does realizes that she is getting older and needs a phone, and knows that at some point she need to let her get a real phone and deal with her own situations.

She’s so freakin sweet! Reminds me of my 11 year old. We have some of the same rules with her phone. There are no electronics (no tv/video games/computers/phones) in the kids bedrooms, no phones at the table. She mainly uses it to video chat with her cousin everyday who lives halfway across the country. They’ll play barbies & makeup together through video chat. 😆

Love love lovee the rule of talking about issues with friends or whomever in person! So so important! I coach for a high school sports team and the amount of issues and drama that is caused by phones/social media is astonishing, and then they don't talk about said issues in person. Way to go Bonnie and Joel, key life lessons!!

My kiddos are still tiny but my husband and I have discussed when we feel a phone is appropriate. I was always of the mindset that when they got their license is when they "needed" it but I literally had NO idea a phone like this existed. It's such a great way to introduce a phone and be able stay connected to your child. So fun for Olivia but it also have gives you a piece of mind that she is accessible without giving her access to non-age appropriate media - LOVE THIS!
