I have been doing this for about 7 months along with a few diet changes and have lost over 80lbs. I know this is not for everyone, but the time I walked from my bedroom to the living room and my pants fell down to my ankles as I was walking because I had lost so much weight I literally cried tears of joy.

As someone born in Africa, i have to say I have been doing the one meal a day challenge all my life.

I really hope these challenge videos get views so they continue making them. They don’t seem to be doing as well as they did two years ago.

The most natural way to eat is to eat when you're hungry, and eat in moderation. If you're hungry, drink some water first, if you're no longer hungry, you were just bored. if you're still hungry, eat something sizeable based on your current hunger.

Welcome to my life. I do this every day. Healthiest decision I've ever made.

I’m so happy that they are still doing the challenge episodes 😄

One meal per day works great after age 45 & if you have & maintain a weight/size goal. I've been doing it since I was 45 years old (57 now) & I'm still as healthy as I felt in my 30s. You'll see that all that eating food is really unnecessary, unless you're trying to maintain 300 lbs. Instead of eating at a specific time, eat when you're hungry & try to hold out til you're really hungry & pick a day, once per week, when you don't eat anything. When I was in the Army, I ate a lot because I was either in the gym for hours at a time or doing some sort of physical military training outside for at least 8-12 hours daily. Now I get full on only two chicken breast sandwiches. if that doesn't do it for the rest of the night, a PB & J sandwich or bowl of cereal will do it.

Ohh maan, where do I begin; 1 meal a day is not "a challenge" or "a diet", you don't suddenly go from 3-4 meals a day to 1, it's a process, a journey. For me it started 'accidentally' in my mid 30s; cutting carbs and eating better food I often felt like skipping breakfast, now I am starting to skip dinner sometimes. In the end, the key to it all is EATING REAL FOOD jam packed with all the values you need; you can't do 1 meal per day on big mac and pasta. It comes naturally, you just don't feel like eating, you don't have to suffer or force yourself😁

I do this pretty often. Reduced massively my belly size along with some running. You can eat 15x times a day though. It’s all about the portion and quality of the food itself.

I have been doing OMAD for 5 years and what you gotta do is not overeat. OMAD regulates your ghrelin hormones which keep you from getting hungry every few hours. OMAD gives me more time in a day to do the things I want not just focus on food.

I've been doing this for most of the year since I'm working ten hrs overnight shifts. I've spent too much money on take outs meals. After a few weeks I stopped stressing about any weight gain, I just focused on choosing something worth filling up in.

Totally understands this video as I tend to do intermittent fasting that is between 18 to 20 hours as 24 hours is way hard. I also suggest if you do it again, try to eat around 10.

I do this daily but I eat dinner after 6pm. About 12pm to 1pm I get hungry but then it goes away and I get an energy boost for the rest of the day. I was a chunky 200 pounds and have brought it down to 125. Its lower than I would like but my body seems to love this weight.

That’s cute. I do one meal a day. Either in the morning or evening. It’s crazy to think as a kid I got 3 meals a day.
  • @cabellism
It's different when you only can afford to eat one meal and day and those that take it up for a "weight loss fad".
