  • He bullied the creators of TESLA out of ownership, not invented

He didn’t invent Tesla nor does he own it. He is an investor that owns stock in Tesla

Person who buys $500 PS5 shirt is the exact target demographic of the Cybertruck.

fun fact about the stainless steel plating: because it has no paint coating on it, some people whove bought one have experienced the actual body of the car rusting within less than a week of buying one, and the cleaning instructions tell you so many things you cant do that basically the only way you can clean it is to regularly wipe down the entire car with window cleaner in a shaded room. yes, thats right, as it turns out the paint coating that every single other car in the world comes with isn't just for looks, but actually to preserve the car's chassis.

the Cybertruck does not meet the requirements to be legal in the UK and EU, you literally cannot drive one of these anywhere in Europe

    >$80,000 truck >accelerator pedal is glued on when will elon musk discover what screws are

Pyro, you should know, the main downside to drive by wire is that in the event of a complete electrical failure your steering stops working entirely and the vehicle will just... go whatever direction it wants to( oncoming traffic or the ditch) and you will be holding a limp disk in your hand. Have had this happen in a car on the highway at 65 mph, almost met god that day.

I worked at a Tesla manufacturing building Do not buy a Tesla Pyro was onto something when he brought up the glue stick; shit is held together with hopes and dreams

11:26 "Tesla's Cope about 'no-paint finish', they basically said, 'cars overtime, they age, they rust, and by not being painted, it's going to be incredibly resistant to that.'" This is 100% false. Due to the fact that the Cybertruck's base model has no paint or even a clear finish, just being exposed steel, it rusts extremely easily. Multiple people have seen it start to rust in less than 2 weeks, and I've seen a report of somebody who's received their Cybetruck with rust already on it. One of the primary reasons for a car to be painted, regardless of what one wants it to look like, is to prevent rust and other damage to the body over time. It's the same reason why almost all exposed metal and wood things have some sort of paint, cover, wrap, or some other finish.
  • As a certified member of the Elon Must Hate Club board, allow me to supplement some information on this disaster of a product. 1. Owners report the stainless steel body rusts extremely quickly if not maintained all the time and if you have dead bugs on it the terms say you need to clean it ASAP, as you mentioned since it has no paint or any coating. You *can* get a coating from Tesla to prevent this... for an additional $2-3k (idr which). 2. Being the body is made up of the aforementioned practically freshly machined steel, the edges are incredibly sharp. Closing the door on your fingers will slice them off but even if you hit your shin on the side of the door it'll slash you open. There's zero sensors on anything automatically closing, so anything that does that can cut off whatever you stick in it. 3. You mentioned about the rear view camera but in addition, if you have the tailgate down (such as if you're hauling something (like someone who drives a truck might do)) the camera points down at the road as it's on the tailgate instead of, idk, the bumper. 4. My mom's Honda Civic can offroad better than this thing. It's demonstrably terrible at driving up uneven inclines. 5. The "Full Self Driving" (ironically Tesla now calls it 'Supervised Full Self Driving' because of a lawsuit where someone was killed because of it) both does not work on the Cybertruck (as you mentioned), but to make up for that it's really good at killing people when you do have it. 6. In general the Cybertruck is extremely shitty, where some people have driven it off the lot and had it immediately break down. This thing is laughably bad. To compound how bad a time this is for a recall, in addition to him begging for a $50 bil bonus, Tesla recently fired roughly 10% of their workers (most of whom weren't informed until they got to work and their keycards wouldn't let them in (which as a reminder is what happened to Twitter as well)). To use Elon's own words, they really dug their grave with the Cybertruck. Fuck Elon.
  • @bisqitwastaken
I like how the truck was in production for almost 4 years then the entire workforce didn't do quality checks and let every owner die from permanent speed. What a terrible excuse.
  • @Spenji
not to mention due to the no crumple zone on the car, it is illegal in europe...

I believe that if Pyro's audience put their collective one brain cell together, they could finally comment something that was actually funny.

To be fair, the windows didn’t ACTUALLY shatter. It just cracked. Though it was a tech bro throwing fairly small objects so it probably had about as much force as a child falling over on it.

Getting hit by a Cybertruck at max speed is equivalent to standing next to 1.2 kilograms of TNT (2.65lbs in🍔). (MATH ALERT) The formula for kinetic energy is E_k = (1/2)mv^2, if we plug in all the values (3000kg and 58.1152m/s) we get (1/2)(3000)(58.12)^2, which is equal to 5066902 joules, or the equivalent of 1.2 kilograms of TNT.
