This is the second in a series of four albums of Vaughan Williams's complete folk song arrangements for voice and piano or violin.
Available in CD and all digital formats from 26 March 2021 (ALBCD043).
This album includes songs collected in the Southern Appalachian Mountains by Cecil Sharp and Maud Karpeles between 1916 and 1918.

Mary Bevan, soprano
Nicky Spence, tenor,
Roderick Williams, baritone
Thomas Gould, violin
William Vann, piano
Two tracks are recycled from earlier Albion albums - to complete the series; the remaining tracks were recorded in London's Henry Wood Hall in June 2020 with Andrew Walton as Producer and Deborah Spanton as Engineer.
