Imagine being that small and suddenly realizing, after years of abuse, that this person isn't going to hurt you, and, in fact, no one ever will again.

"I don´t care if you bite me, you will feel love!". Mad respect for this woman
  • The way he instantly calmed when she actually touched him gently was so heartbreaking. I think he wanted to trust but he just didn’t know how.

I hope she decides to keep him. He deserves stability.

It boils blood that someone would even consider hurting a sweet innocent angel like this. The people that takes these animals in and gives them love are truly heroes.

I love and respect any person who goes to the rescue of these poor abused animals. I wish them all the best.
  • So cute when you rubbed his chest and he suddenly felt calm. That's gotta be like the magic spot for petting dogs. So happy this cute little boy finally felt love ❤️

I've scored a perfect "F" for fostering dogs - I bond with them and won't let them go. Tried it a couple of times, nope they're all keepers. You're an angel lady.

You can tell that he has a gentle nature because even when he “attacks” in fear, he doesn’t bite hard.

This is amazing. I adopted a severely fearful jack-chi who was abused. Her pads were pink because she'd never been outdoors. She would bite and go into a frenzied state just from touch. It's been 2 years, and her improvements have been astonishing. She's traveled with me on plans, trains and automobiles. She has a walker who takes her out every day with other dogs. She still has severe fear. She won't let the walker leash her, so I have to do it. It's patience and love and setting boundaries that she understands aren't abuse. I look forward to her living her best life no matter how long it takes. Thank you for the inspiration.
  • As an abused child growing up, i know what its like to live in fear daily.. It took me 20 years to get over the first 15 years of my life.. My Son didnt grow up even getting spanked. He was an honor roll student and I tell him daily how much i love him.. That cycle ended ! Bless you for be patient with this little doggo 🙏

People who abuse small, defenseless animals and humans are the lowest of the low. Doesn’t get more evil than that. I hope every abused creature gets a chance like this

It's enraging to think that anyone would even contemplate harming such a sweet innocent angel like this. The individuals who take in these animals and shower them with love are genuine heroes.

If people actually took time and had patience to do this with a child that endured trauma, imagine how many lives can be changed.
  • The ability for a person to show an animal "If you need to hurt me to feel safe, that's ok, I can take it. I'm gonna love you whether you want me to or not." That's a rare and beautiful way to love.
Gracias.
  • This this broke my heart to see how absolutely terrified he was ! Thank you so much for showing him what love actually is ! I’m so happy you found each other & he gets to live the rest of his life knowing only love !!

I’m not a dog person but I think you folks who rehabilitate these puppies are angels. Hats off to you.
