It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost two decades since the first “Harry Potter” movie came out! It doesn’t matter how many times we watch the movies — and we’ve watched them a lot! We thought the movies were absolutely perfect the first time we saw them. But the more we watch them, the more we notice a few things that might not be quite right. Some plot holes pop up every now and then.
But there are also some scenes from the movies that are downright creepy! And the filmmakers expected us to just go along with all the weirdness. But we have questions! These scenes seriously need to be addressed. From Buckbeak’s execution to everything about Gilderoy Lockhart. Take a look at these ten creepy scenes that need to be talked about. When Harry stuck his wand up the trolls nose he was testing the troll for covid
-
“He’s a creepy half-man, half-beast thing!” Are you forgetting that that’s exactly what a werewolf is?
-
Voldemort’s hug was actually not in the script. Everyone was as surprised as we were. He only hugged Draco in 1 take and that was the take they went with
-
Voldemort on the back of Quirrell’s head has A NOSE!!!!!!!!!!!
-
9:16 Ralph was told by David to improvise that scene to keep everyone on edge. So he decided to hug him as a way for Tom to react like draco would.

"He's a creepy half man half wolf ting" Yeh, that is exactly what a werewolf is!
-
"The Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Professor Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban" Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that Fred and George repeatedly hit Voldemort in the face

I have some solutions! 1: The executer couldn’t use Avada Kedavera to kill Buckbeak because that was an unforgivable curse! 2: The basilisk venom did not kill the horcrux in Harry because Fawkes healed him before it could. 3: The hug between Draco and Voldemort was improvised. Tom Felton who plays Draco was as creeped out as you were! 4: Harry didn’t remember exactly when his mother died so he couldnt see the Thestrals until Cedric died Also I LOVE HARRY POTTER Ps Thestrals are not creepy neither is Luna

Harry Potter was initially created for kids, but Rowling and her publisher realized that there's a lot of potential readers among grown-ups. I read it the first time when I was 30 and still appreciate it 20 years later.

9/10 times you say "plothole" they can be explained by reading the books
-
The hug between Draco and Voldemort wasn't planned by anyone it just happened.the look of confusion on Draco's face wasn't acting. He had no idea what was happening
-
"Of all the fantastic beasts in Harry Potter, Thestrals are the creepiest" * Sad dementor noises *
-
0:38 It's killed meh it's killed meh

How dare you to insult thestrals?!! They are one of my favorite beasts and my personal patronos!!!
-
Voldy hugging draco was improv by Voldemort's actor, because they couldnt get the scene to work. That was Tom felton's genuine reaction
-
The scene where Voldemort hugs Draco was actually an improvisation of Ralph Fiennes who plays Voldemort. Tom Felton revealed it in an interview that they had to do that particular scene quite a lot of times and each time Ralph did it differently and so the hug was quite spontaneous. That’s why Draco looks a lil surprised.

Young Voldemort definitely gives me the chills. Especially when he says I can make people hurt if I want too. Creeeepy!! I don’t find thestrals creepy though, they are unique and kind of beautiful in an odd way.
