Nice blade, I would be concerned about porosity and inclusions in the steel because of voids between the links. It would be a great candidate for a canister build.

Beautiful work and excellent craftsmanship! Im a traditionalist though, would have loved to have seen a hardwood handle. Would have been a 10 instead of a 9. 😊

Awesome knife! Cant believe you forge welded it together so well. I want to say the motor oil quench is more toxic and too viscous. I suggest canola oil or actual quench oil.
