  • "now who would've guessed this game has such a complex story to it?" the complex story: cthulhu gets mauled by forest people cult wants to bring it back so tries making prosthetics skeleton man curses dungeon kill cult fight new cthulhu
  • The thing that I dislike about Terraria's lore is that it all feels so shoehorned together. There's so many disparate parts that obviously don't go together, but Relogic tried to smash them all into the same mold anyway. Skeletron, for example, is said to be the manifestation of some sort of curse, but according to the lore, it's part of Cthulhu's skull that was ripped out by the Dryads. Okay, well, we can SEE the Moon Lord's skull after defeating him, and Skeletron looks nothing like it. They're not even the same COLOR. Speaking of the Dungeon, the Mechanic in-game is scared of the Clothier because she says HE abducted her. He has nothing to do with the lunar cult. And if she's supposed to be building prosthetics for the Moon Lord, why is she tied up? Why is she in the DUNGEON, which is so damn dangerous and incongruent to Moon Lord revival that even the Lunatic Cultist eventually said, "Fuck this.," and left? Also, why is one of the prosthetics she's tasked with building the wrong body part? The Eater of Worlds is supposed to be Cthulhu's eviscerated guts, but the Destroyer is said to be a replacement for his SPINE. On the flip side of the coin, a lot of major characters and enemies in the game just HAVE no lore whatsoever. What causes Blood Moons and Solar Eclipses? Who built Demon and Crimson Altars, and why? Why does destroying them cause Hardmode ores to start spawning? Why is the Guide some sort of avatar/guardian of the Wall of Flesh? Who lives in all those buildings in the Underworld? What is Plantera supposed to be? If the overarching theme of all the different worlds of Terraria is balance, why does one half of that balance (the Hallow) not appear until Hardmode when the evil biomes are there from the start of the game? What is the Shimmer supposed to be? It bugs me.

so underrated. i love the game theory style editing, hope you get more recognition dude
  • I will miss there’s one thing I could definitely see being changed being more or less all of the crossovers and we can just say that happened at random points and times before the moon is killed

Good Job summing it all up! Terraria makes a lot more sense once all these things get explained whilst also sounding so much more insane Keep this level of quality up i'm sure you'll make it big (Had to do a double take when i saw your subscriber count, am surprised to see how good the video already was)
