B.S. Sullivan had a change of heart after he met Elvis and even made that clear on his show ! It's B.S. and Click Bait !

Sorry “friend” but you showed Ann-Margret in the thumbnail without a mention in the video and did we get an answer to the question in the title? “Do not recommend channel”👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
  • Ed sullivan never understood rock n roll only ratings, the Colonal made Ed pay $50k for Elvis's one away appearance in LA & two appearances on his show in NY
  • Great story to hear about all these great artists!!! Can't see the forest for the trees, dummies.
  • That show was seen faithfully every week at my house. I watched the Beatles, I was 11 then. Other than that, there was A LOT of Topo Gigio, which stunk IMO.

Buddy Holly wasn't just on ed sullivan once as they claim here. On their second appearance Ed was mad because the crickets didn't show for rehearsal so Ed cut out one of their two songs.
  • Ed Sullivan, who was such a significant figure in introducing America to rock 'n' roll
  • Poor Buddy got in a V-tailed Bonanza with winter icing conditions Takes a special pilot to fly one of those in even in favorable conditions Waylon dodged the bullet on that one

I remember getting so bored and restless trying to watch that show waiting for people like the Beatles and Stones to show up on there as a kid in the 60s. The show was just not my cup of tea.
  • Did Ed Sullivan like Martha & the Vandellas? They are the only Motown group that only performed once on the show..

hating internet more each day... for these kind of reasons...
  • You segment about Sam Cooke is pure B.S. !!! Sam first appearance was on Sunday, Nov 3, 1957 & indeed, they DID run out of time & cut Sam's FIRST performance just as he launched into "You Send Me". Fortunately, contrary to your commentary, they indeed did "cross paths" again. On Sunday, December 1, 1957, Ed Sullivan issued an on-air apology, saying that they had done Sam "wrong" & that he had never received so much angry mail, he brought Sam out & Sam sang "For Sentimental Reasons".

This has been well-documented, we've all seen the clip of Sam's second Sullivan appearance & for you to write something so dead wrong, suggests that you've copied your information from elsewhere & didn't both to fact-check information which is not only easy to find, but, also has been written about for DECADES.

Clickbait, deceptive captions are bad enough, it's exacerbated when you get simple facts wrong. I despise people who have to resort to outright lies because they only care about page hits. It's obvious that you have ZERO RESPECT for those who click on your clickbait crap. It's as unnecessary, as it is stupid & counterproductive to your cause. You have no way of knowing how many LEGITIMATE page hits you miss out on because the word about your tactics have gotten around. You may fool people once & if you do, you eon't get a chance to do it again.

This is just plain sloppy & by the way, what follows is Sam & Sullivan "never crossing paths again". Keep up the not-so "good" work...
