Too bad the outside theme is constantly overshadowed by *laser noises*
  • @KertaDrake
The moment when you realize the reason there's barely any music is that they stuffed the entire soundtrack into the castle.

It's like the souls of fallen soldiers are marching behind you to reclaim what Calamity Ganon took from them and you.
  • Awesome that we can hear: -Original Hyrule castle theme -Ganon's theme -Zelda's theme -LoZ/Link's theme All that in the same music.
  • Only bad thing about this theme is I can't hear it for the first time again
  • @ethanropp6957
It sounds like an army marching to its final stand.

Especially when Link's theme kicks in, that's the time when Zelda's lullaby also comes. Just beautiful
  • First time I heard this theme, I was just sneaking into the castle to get some loot. I had no intention of saving Zelda or fighting Ganon at that time. I heard this music start up and said “Nope.” Yoinked the Hylian shield and a few good swords and fast traveled out of there. Good times

When you put love and passion into a game, this is what you produce

The marching effect, the snare drums and the trumpets makes it feel like it's not just Link who's marching. It's every soldier who died, every leader, every member of court, ever farmer who had fallen to the Calamity, come to banish the usurper from whence he came. Then Link reaches the inside, and the furious, righteous pride vanishes along with the marching feet of a fallen Hyrule. The once proud home of Hyrule's royalty.. silent like a crypt, overtaken by foul monsters and the Calamity. Reality has set in. He is alone. But Zelda, and all of Hyrule, is depending on him..

The best parts: the way they integrate Link's theme (the LoZ fanfare), Zelda's theme (the Lullaby), and Ganon's theme all together, emphasizing their eternal connection, and how the general vibe is just...melancholic. There's little triumph here, just a heavy, lingering sadness. The tragedy has happened; Link's mission isn't vengeance, the scars are already too deep for that to heal them.

I still remember the emotions that built up when I heard Zelda’s lullaby when I got to her room 🥺
  • @ibanitoo3865
0:00 - 3:10 the outside theme sound like "fight, destroy every one of them" 3:10 - 7:44 the inside theme sound like "hurry up, go save her"

link is literally a one man army with this track think about it hyrule had hundreds if not thousands of warriors and they all fell in battle including each of the champions link was the only one to survive (barely) and after a 100 year rest he went back and tried it again this time basically by himself
  • I can't wait for botw 2 to come out, its gonna kick ass just like this game, God is it amazing
  • Kinda sad we didn't have this at Hyrule Castle again for ToTK. This was my favourite track after all
  • I wish I could forget the moment I got to Hyrule Castle so I can experience it again for the first time. :')
