One reason to make the emulator was for way better performance/resolution.

i was listening then i won a video game bid on ebay for just 19.99. Now im going out to party because $20 zero-zero bid was over & out of time! So tonight I'm gonna party as i won at 19.99!

Final Fantasy 16 was the second big game for PlayStation 5 last year, even though it was more of a third-party exclusive.

Theortically the other reason a PS5 Pro would exist is to fix a lot of these low res current gen games running at stuff like 720p to get them back up to 4K. But that's not really a problem with the PS5. That's on developers for pushing the system WAY too far for minimal visual gain. PS5 should have been PS4 games but in 4K, these games have so much detail you can't see at 1080p that I don't think you need to reinvent the wheel.

Tbh I can't really tell the difference between original PS4 and PS5, maybe loading times etc but actual gameplay I can never really tell

What's your thoughts on the Last of Us tv show? It's a prestige TV show of the caliber of The Sopranos, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones (seasons 1-6).

Yuzu was popular for playing your switch games on more powerful hardware. There are far too many switch games run choppy on the switch and at low resolutions.

Small caveat: Yuzu didn't run TOTK before release of TOTK (around lawsuit someone checked it). Seems I cannot link links, so look for "reddit Evidence came out that TOTK was not playable on official EA patreon yuzu builds." I think we will see more control over IPs in the future. For example recent Dragon Dogma 2 is only allowing to have save file in the cloud. (User is only able to reset save file, but cannot access and modify.) Tbh I'm not sure if I'm for emulation of current gen console or against. On one hand piracy, which means worse DRM for legitimate users. Also it can be killer for creators. On another one: most damage to physical media comes from usage. Emulator doesn't require you to have cartridge/disc nearby, so chance of losing or damaging is almost 0%. Another thing is privacy: consoles/PCs probably shares information how we play the games, if leaked it can be terrible. Thieves would love to know when we leave houses. Also Ms/Sony/Nintendo may use to manipulate us into buying more things or change market.

If the PS5 Pro boosts PSVR2 performance, I'll get it for sure. PS4 Pro definitely boosted PSVR1 perf. But, its already possible to get great performance out of the base PS5, with eye tracked foveated rendering being the magic sauce that can make VR look current gen. It just hasn't been used across the board yet so many games have launched undercooked, relying on patches to implement top performance.

All downloading of free roms without the intellectual property holder’s consent is morally wrong

Sony and Microsoft are annoying me with their business practices. I want my consoles to feel like they're receiving attention and that the company isn't just immediately thinking about the future generation or half gen. Nintendo will get my money going forward. They seem to have struck the balance recently.
