This is the order with their weakness... 1) Wheel Gator: Strike Chain/X- Buster 2) Bubble Crab: Spin Wheel 3) Flame Stag: Bubble Splash 4) Morphed Moth: Speed Burner 5) Magna Centipede: Silk Shot 6) Crystal Snail: Magnet Mines 7) Overdrive Ostrich: Crystal Hunter 8) Wire Sponge: Sonic Slicer

Ohhhh my god, I haven't seen this since I was 8 or so. I thought it was just X that I was thinking of, but nope, I definitely remember that gator, X-2 is the game all right. Probably my first video game. I remember it as being SPECTACULARLY hard, but I would keep trying just so I could see the cool bosses. And I loved Flame Stag's level and always thought he looked like a dog not a deer.

I like tarosans longplays he plays like a actual human and plays at his own pace

Crystal Snail. When you knock him out of his shell you can bump into it to keep him from going back into it.
  • Played Mega man X on SNES back in the day but never had the chance to play this one. Just bought the Japanese version of this game. Top notch video ;)

Great longplay. Just a quick pointer: If you play the bosses in the following order: Wire Sponge, Crystal Snail, Flame Stag, you can get a helluva lot of items without having to repeat stages. It helps because then you have two subtanks and three heart tanks when confronting the first X-hunter.

The Super Nintendo had the largest collection of 3rd Party games in the 16 bit era
  • I only had the first "Mega Man X" video game on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System; so watching videos of the other games in the "Mega Man X" video game series on YouTube allows me to feel like I'm playing the game.

In the opening bit of the game, you see a green biker doing a wheely towards the base but gets destroyed... that's Green Biker Dude.

Definitely a favorite as a kid. I regret not owning this as a kid. The only thing I didn't like was that Sigma was the final boss, I would have preferred someone else for a little variety.

A small tip for those who play this. You CAN do other stages in between parts of the final area. And one part in Bubble Crab's stage is a GREAT place to replenish your Sub Tanks. And I HIGHLY recommend refilling Sub Tanks in-between parts of the X-Hunter stages.

Thanks man this helped me a lot

Is it just me, or did Zero have the most Epic-Badass Entrance EVER in Videogaming-History??? I think nothing compared to this scene... not even the epic final showdown between Old Snake an Liquid Ocelot....
