Dawdling away from junctions is a common fault even with the 'experienced' riders I take out. We all experience it when a car joins in front of us and then takes an age to pick up speed, so we shouldn't do it either. It's not mega acceleration that is required, just enough to keep following vehicles happy/at bay (without being pressurised to go too fast).

Keeping an eye on 2 students at the same time must be difficult!

May I ask what comms system you're using? The mic sounds really good

Whats your view on installing loud aftermarket full exhaust systems on bikes to be heard? And an aftermarket loud horn too? Because the stock horns they have on bikes are really weak. Mentioning the counter steer is it push down forwards? What about your other hand just relax it?
  • “Downhill, rear brake with the clutch out not in.” Could you advise on this please, thank you.

Im thinking of doing a DAS / getting a full licence. Would you say that doing a lot of driving (for job and personal use) would be advantageous or would it be like learning from scratch?
  • @Grahamvfr
Apologies if you've mentioned before Leanne, but I feel uncomfortable with the suggestion of pushing 'down' and away when countersteering.. Giving that even a push with a couple of fingers is enough to initiate the physics. I'm thinking of stiff arms developing in pupils.
  • @WorksopGimp
The problem I find with an instructor is Im anticipating the trainer's instructions makes it harder to relax, what am I doing wrong or any tips to combat this feeling, thanks for the vid
  • I do enjoy watching these videos, but I'm afraid the level of ads is just too intrusive. Appreciate it's probably beyond your control.
