For today's video I made a miniature book. It would look great for a diorama project or as a tiny gift. You could also make it as a non fixed open book since the book has a stitched spine and it wont come apart.

So good!! We had a bookbindery for years, so I was pleasantly surprised to see you knew the steps. This is awesome!! I want to make one now. Here's a little tip... old pleather jackets are a dime a dozen at the thrift stores now, and when you separate the pleather from the lining, it's surprisingly thin like plastic. It would be perfect for a project like this!
  • Oh my goodness I can finally write my life’s story this is gonna be the coolest thing yet to date…

I have learned how to bind books! In the printing school, my profession was called Artistic finishing bookbinder :) It was interesting to observe the techniques of making a miniature book. The only criticism - the corners of the lids could be made much cooler by cutting them off and folding them inwards. Thanks for the video! :)
  • This is seriously so cool. I don't know how the color tone of the final glued printed pages turned into matching tones with the rest of the book though :) They were initially different tones.

So excited… I’m making my first one right now. I was having a hard time perforating the paper ( it kept moving around )so I put an eraser under in and the pin went in like butter 🤗 I have an old purse with very thin leather and I’m going to cut a piece out to cover the covers at the end 👍Thank you SOO much !!!
