Umm…they have been doing that all the way back with the Viggen…for like at least 30-40 years

Sweden's road bases have been operational since the inclusion of the Draken fighter aircraft in the late 1950s, so it is nothing new. There have been about 200 such road runway strips al over Sweden, though the main usage has always been to allow easily overtake a slow driver in front of you ;-) This since these roadbases are 7 m/22 ft wider than normal roads (8 m/ 28 ft), particularly useful if a 24 m/78 ft lorry is in front of you, giving 1000 m or yards overtake. Finland included the same type of road bases But, timing is uncertain if they used them with their ol' Draken Fighter or only with their F-18s. Doubt that a grass strip, as asked about, can hold the weight of a Gripen, but some say it can use gravel/metal roads. After driving a lot in Switzerland, they have some similar road bases doubling as ordinary roads long before they bought their F-18s.
  • Try to do service with an American fighter plane on a road base in the middle of the forest, the JAS Gripen has a built-in diagnostic system that sees if service is required, an engine change takes 1 hour in the forest. Fuel and weapons take 10 minutes. The plane is basically built to be easy to service, can take off and land on short distances.
  • I think you should consider leaving the commentary on screen for a longer duration in your future videos. There’s a lot of time left between them, and still barely enough time to read them.
  • Posiblemente el futuro remplazo del kfir en Colombia;😮😮😮 actualmente es construido por Embraer para la forca aérea brasilera.😮😮😮😮😮

Testing, huh? Where have you been the last 70-80 years or so??

Homemade? They build the airplane parts in their homes and then put them together somewhere!? Must be during covid. ;)

Came here to see a 'homemade fighter jet'. This is a Saab.
