I've just realized something... Misfortune is friends with Hiro. She describes Hiro saying, "..He has a pair of sweet boots and a cowboy hat. He's a ghost. " Then when "Mr.Voice" tells Misfortune that George hung himself and that he died, she says; "But he's wearing a pair of sweet boots! He can't be dead..! " She didn't realize Hiro had to die to become a ghost, and made the connection through the boots. :(
