About MLB.com: Former Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League Club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's Internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the Internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live full length MLB game over the Internet when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. MLB.com also provides fans with a stable of Club beat reporters and award-winning national columnists, the largest contingent of baseball reporters under one roof, that deliver over 100 original articles every day. MLB.com also offers extensive historical information and footage, online ticket sales, official baseball merchandise, authenticated memorabilia and collectibles and fantasy games.

    - What a World Series this one turned out to be. :-)
  • @DiscoKing02
Even as a Dodger fan, this has to be one of the greatest world series ever, the match up was perfect and extremely balanced. Game 5 was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen, even tho the Dodgers ended up losing that game, I'll never forget Chris Taylor tying it up. I'm exited to see how the rest of 2018 turns out, If I had too pick a WS match up, it would probably be NYY vs LAD, but a rematch with the Stros would be epic. If that happens, they should just call game 1 game 8, that series was too good to end in 7. If any Astro fans are reading this, Congrats again, well deserved win last year.

Game 5 was the craziest game I've ever watched. Coming from a royals fan.

I was only able to watch games 5 and 7 of this series, but I will say that game 5 was the greatest baseball game I've ever watched. Not even an Astros fan but Altuve's 3-run home run gives me chills every time I watch it.

Nothing will top game 5 and game 2. Best comebacks I've ever seen in a mlb game. World champs baby!!!!!

I may only be 26, but this was the greatest World Series in my lifetime. Even though my Dodgers lost this series, I was treated to a classic of Fall Classics. When they talk about the greatest WS of all time, this one is in the conversation. If they make a Top 10 Greatest World Series Ever, this is in the top 5. This was a clash of the titans for 3 reasons: 1. 2 teams with 100+ wins, a first in nearly 50 years 2. Both teams looking to end lengthy title droughts (Dodgers: since 1988, Astros: since their inaugural season in 1962, Have never won it all) 3. The best pitcher in the game, Clayton Kershaw, finally got to pitch in the WS. He kinda got smoked in Game 5 but was fantastic to start the Series. 7 IP, 1 R, 11 K, 0 BB in Game 1. That is a statement at the time. This series was a true heavyweight tilt with 2 classic games (2 and 5), the momentum swinging from one team to another all series long, and a WS record for power (25 homeruns combined by both teams) make this one of the 10 greatest World Series tilts in MLB history. From a Dodgers fan.

Man would I love to see these teams again in the World Series, with Cody bellinger rn going for mvp hitting bombs every game, and verdugo, both teams have absolute power now
  • @Boimoi-uy2sk
Even though im a Dodgers fan, i have to give the astros a round of applause because of how good each game was
  • @juliascott3271
I can’t be the only one who saw that guy try to catch the homer, miss it, and then it hit that girl in the stomach right?!? @11:50
  • @Tu_Padre31
I cant imagine fans of any other teams besides maybe the Yankees feeling like they would've had a chance against any of these 2 teams. these teams are ridiculously stacked. being nationals or redsoxs fans probably felt like being fans of a triple A team after watching these teams go at it lol
