About MLB.com: Former Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League Club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's Internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the Internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live full length MLB game over the Internet when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. MLB.com also provides fans with a stable of Club beat reporters and award-winning national columnists, the largest contingent of baseball reporters under one roof, that deliver over 100 original articles every day. MLB.com also offers extensive historical information and footage, online ticket sales, official baseball merchandise, authenticated memorabilia and collectibles and fantasy games.

I don't know how many times I've seen that last out, but I can tell you this. I will NEVER get tired of seeing it! Love my Astros!
  • @USMCTexan
Let's not forget Charlie Morton, cool hand luke on the mound, that dude really shut some people down in the clutch when needed!
  • Dodgers were saying "We have a problem..HOUSTON!" Go Stros!!! My pop has been a Stros fan since I can remember. I'm so happy for his team to win it all in this lifetime. Awesome series to be remembered for years to come!

As a fan, you couldn’t help but sit there long after the game just to see them celebrate and wait for a post game interview. It just puts so much joy in our hearts seeing them celebrate the win.
  • And people doubted Sports Illustrated for saying the Astros would win a championship back in 2014

Where Baseball History Was Made.... Congratulations to the Houston Astros, their fans and Justin Verlander from Motown! Tiger fans are gonna miss you JV....But speaking for myself, I'm so proud and happy that the Astros gave you an opportunity to win that long awaited WS....You earned it! You deserved it! You got it! This has to be one of the greatest post seasons and WS I've ever seen....absolutely brilliant!

I watched this with my Uncle, who is a huge Astros fan, and so am I.,....now. My Uncle deserved this......he's happy as a kid, now he's 86 years old. Still brings a tear to his eye, watching the replays........brings a tear to my eye watching him....

What a phenomenal edit of all the wins, especially the overlay of radio & tv broadcasting and then the ballpark sounds & including the extended cut of the last out. Badass. I honestly can't get enough of these WS highlights, & I'll never forget the moment they won it all and how I absolutely lost it in my living room. Cannot wait for opening day next year

You almost begin to feel bad for the opposing pitchers. Just an all out assault of a team that can burn you at any point in the line up
  • @lovls5662
Anyone else still watching these things now in 2018?
  • @romeyroe
A month later and this still brings a tear to my eye. I loved reliving this again.

Happy to see a former NL Central rival (that's not the fucking Cardinals) winning the World Series. From a Cub fan

i was inside Minute Maid during game 7 with half a stadium full of Astros fans and when i tell you during that last inning with 2 outs and PJ on the mound, the anticipation was electric. my heart was racing, everyone was silent outside of a few "we're almost there" "bring it home PJ". the whole stadium was ROCKING when we won it all, it was so amazing. MVP chants, Houston strong chants, tears from lifelong fans, cheers all the way into 4:00 in the morning, it was truly something special. glad i got to be apart.

June 1st and I watch this and game 5 every morning religiously. 38 year Houstonian and the city has been through so much both sports wise and weather destruction. You have to be a TRUE HOUSTONIAN to understand why this was HUGE. I still get chills down my spine everytime I watch these.

The real MVP is the person banging the trash can 🤷🏾‍♂️😂
