But one thing that triggered me the most when I used to play with legos I lost all of them now but I'm getting the backs slowly It's when I took hours of my life building the millennium Falcon out of lego and then a 5 year old stepped on it and shattered all the pieces and I just gave up at that point worst day of my life

The brick separator works great to get the 1x2 and 2x2's apart if you attach it to another piece first.

To solve having to borrow from other sets, I would buy the lego ideas bulk pieces that come in yellow boxes, then collect and organize them into bins or boxes. That way when you need a spare part or lost a piece you can just look in the bins you have labeled. Saves a lot of time and stress
