When my mother died at 99 she still managed all of her personal needs. She used a samsung tablet, always learning new ways of using it. She was even taking college level courses well into her 90's. I provided room and board, but she helped around the house until the last few months. ❤

I think you must listen to your body and respect it.I have no intentions of getting hold as it’s just a state of mind. I’ve had two knee replacements and now walk very well. No more arthritis. That is awesome

  • I am 77, a few weeks ago I was flying on an airplane across country. Someone thought this was the first time I was on a plane because I was so joyful looking out the window as if it was the first time seeing the world from high above. I have been flying since the old DC nine prop planes of the 50s. It is just that when I see things it’s always the first time. Even when I look out my window at my house, it is the first time when I go fishing and I watched the water pass before me for the first time. Learning has been my lifelong habit and hobby . Asking questions and finding answers. Challenges are joy. Could stay at a job once I learned it. Yet., every job helped me on the next. It was like walking up a ladder of education. (I’ve never been good at managing my money… I end up giving more away if I have a dollar extra, instead of putting it away for tomorrow when I’ll need it)
  • I enjoy painting...my home. At 77 I am once again re-painting my apartment. Completed my bathroom and kitchen (2 most difficult rooms). Looking forward to my entrance next, them my living area, and lastly my bedroom. Love re-decorating every 7 years or so. A bit slower, more care on the ladder, but greatly satisfying. Writing my ongoing memoir (for my grandchildren's eyes only). Reading 2 books a week, shopping and cooking healthy meals. Pain and meds-free. Life is the best it's ever been.
  • I LOVE All THESE, it’s the TRUTH- I’m 71- going to 72, I LOVE gardening, I walk 5 miles a day / 5 days a week, I enjoy going to different Malls, not to spend money for shopping just looking around, I also enjoy going to church and involve in some organizations, I also enjoy going to casino”” I don’t loss money just go eat and try 20.00 in the slot machine, enjoy meeting my ex- coworkers there, so I keep myself busy. These is really very good values and very true, thank you so much. God bless, take care.🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍❤️
  • I just celebrated my 80th birthday this month, happy and healthy. I perform kata every other day like a 20 year old, enjoy good food, drink beer occasionally, and do not worry. Laughter is the best medicine.

At 78 and pushing 79, I’ve been fortunate to remain mostly healthy. I am feeling my years but im still active and go dancing several times per week and walk often 3-5 or more miles. I do have some worries and concerns about things but I’m looking for solutions and implementing plans that even if a bit scary look like viable options to better my life. Yes, I could have done better in many ways but I’ve given up bad habits and slowly learned to be more patient and don’t allow the obstacles along the way to consume my spirit although it’s hard to not be affected. I’m a little scared but looking forward to my next journey.
  • Although I have scoliosis and I am making plans to have it rectified. But when I have my spine repaired I plan to continue piano lessons , learn French , and try to learn to swim. Other items will be calligraphy which I did try at one point in time. Also I am 91+ years of age. Thanks for this video You confirm what I have always said age numbers are only a number not a death sentence. ❤❤❤😊😊😊LK from 🇨🇦

I am 72. I agree with everything you said except that we must socialize and not be lonely. Alone and lonely are two different things. I enjoy my "aloneness" so very much!! George Moustaki has a song named Ma Solitude. The translation is: I am never lonely with my solitude. Loved reading other comments !!!! Thank you all !!!!
