So glad you’re colabbing with moistcritikal, nice to see you helping out smaller creators
  • @username27626
what’s the point in saying you won’t go further on certain ones when you don’t go in depth on any of the topics, you just flew threw them like a list

"Which is talking about", "up next", ect; couldnt finish the vid after hearing that like over 40 times in 5 min.
  • I'm going to hear the phrase "which is talking about" in my dreams tonight ...

Creator of the iceberg here, thank you so much for this amazing video! I made it a few years ago, and I'm intending to make a much more complete one in the near future. You did a great job covering everything on it, and I'm glad to have stumbled upon your channel!

48:51 "speaking of japanese terraria" after talking about the chinese website...
  • @sophdog2564
32:57 right, but metal detectors can also find life fruit, pots, strange plants, desert fossils, gelatin crystals, and the glow tulip
  • @KuruKuruKing
The severed hand was removed because "It was too annoying and hard to hit in an already hectic event"
  • @Dooley13
Not sure if anybody else has pointed this out already, but the ancient vision only spawns in if you attack a duplicate cultist while a phantasm dragon is alive which makes it just a little bit rarer
  • @Kioskism772
Hiya. Person from the SMBX community here. The game is still up. The owners of the site had to change the url because they received a legal thing from nintendo. But rest assured we are still alive!
  • @Dooley13
nothing makes you feel old the way that having broken life crystals with hammers does
  • @baileynope
“Like 2 floating islands!” I haven’t even explored half my world and I have found 5 😳
  • @pexdark
Although I respect the effort put into this video, I disagree with some explanations - I'd say "ancient armor origins" reference all the ancient sets, like shadow or hallowed, which originate from the old designs of them
  • @Liam-ov9qh
I think it's dumb that people got so upset about torch luck. Like it just incentivizes fighting an easy boss. In addition to torches matching their surroundings, it gives you a buff.
  • Whenever I get a broken heroes sword I make the toilet cause there's no need for a second You know what Sword Unless you're trying to make a second Zenith.
  • 28:20 Eerie only plays during a blood moon or while near a meteor. Surprised he didn’t catch this.
  • @mello_639
Great video, great feature; you definitely deserve the exposure you been getting recently and I hope you grow even larger :)) 💕
  • 18:25 Huh? Isn't the Ancient Set entry referring to how it's possible for some enemies in certain biomes to drop certain armor sets made in reference to the old appearance of certain armor parts? Such as the Ancient Cobalt Set being a way to use the old appearance of the Cobalt set, seeing as it's different now. I believe there's a set for Ancient Cobalt, Ancient Jungle and Ancient Demonite, as well as an Ancient Necro Helmet.
  • 43:30 the noise.png is a pre-generated noise file, as generating noise is a pretty expensive operation. It is usually used during procedural world/texture generation where you want the same value to produce the same random value (like you can recreate seeds). for that it's common to use hashing, a function that produces very different outputs depending on the input, but is deterministic (e.g. hash(a) is always the same). for world generation a random value is invoked several times per tile and thus you either use a single thread (which is extremely slow), or you do them in parallel, and thus you need a stable algorithm, and in game design it's common to use pre-generated noise as it's much easier to read from a file than to generate it on the fly. (same reason most older games precomputed values for trigonometric functions)
