Alpharius is the youngest brother who is constantly leaving the house and everybody just trusts that he will be fine. Secretly he and Omegon have a tree fort somewhere with plumbing, electricity, AC, and a 48 inch TV
  • The one thing Primarchs of Loyalist and Traitor sides can unanimously agree on as Mood Kindred: their Father is the worst parent ever.
  • @casbot71
The Emperor really should have gotten some counselling services for his family. Personally I blame the absent Mother.

Alpharius detailed his view on each of the primarchs which is said 1) Horus was the greatest of them though he knew it all too well. 2) Lorgar he could never work out if the emperor's arrival actually helped him or not. 3) he was present at a number of primarch first meetings but he was not present at Angron's, he does not regret that. 3) "None of us like Curze, and I'm fairly certain he despises us all equally in turn" 4) He did not respect Rogal dorn's view of war, where Dorn's methods would maximise chance of victory whatever the cost, Alpharius focussed on avoiding pyrrhic victories through more risk filled games. He also noted that he never trusts someone who doesn't lie" 5) Magnus never seemed to want to be close with the other primarchs, though he stood besides him when it came to psychers because no tool is evil, it is just a tool and should be mastered. 6) He disliked the lion, he eternally looked down upon all his brothers and never trusted anyone. He respected his presence though and tactical strategy. 7) Corax's personality was as hard to see as the man himself 8) He envied Sanguinious massively for his wings, not because of any tacticle reason but the sensation of flying must have been exhillerating. 9) He made Leman Russ smile once. The only true smile he think he's ever caused in his brother. He did so when being asked what his role was meant to be in the emperor's galaxy, to which Alpharius replied "I'm the one who keeps secrets" The Fenrisian, laughing, said in response "Then I'm surprised there aren't two of you"
  • Can you imagine a primarch family dinner? Everyone is trying to fight each other while Sanguinus is just enjoying his soup cause none of them want to hurt the Glorious Hawkboy

Purterabo and Magnus were actually really close. Magnus spoke fondly of he and Perty exploring the ruins of old terra when both of them were there, and he even tried to get the Emperor to forgive him in the Fury of Magnus.
  • I really like the friendship between Magnus and Perturabo. Especially that bit where he saves Magnus
  • @JIMT412
Konrad is the edgy brother who is asked every time "why are you like this?" and unholy screech at you. Corvus is the cool edgy brother who writes and reads dark poetry and is everything Konrad isn't.
  • I remember reading that when Perty thought Magnus died he was super sad about it but when he and Magnus met back up Perty hugged him and asked him to never do anything so dangerous every again. So they might be actually pretty close
  • Vulkan had a really good relationship with G-man. In "Vulkan Lives", there are a few times where you find Vulkan hoping G-man comes to save him (or Corvis)

For those who missed the epic Khan burn: It was at Ullanor (not sure 100%, but doesnt matter much) and there was bunch of primarchs in the tent. Fulgrim: Hey Khan, i heard you do strange things to your ships (referring some extra white scars speed tech Khan's fleet had) Khan: i heard you do strange things to your warriors.
  • I can’t believe he forgot the great rivalry between Alpharius and Alpharius or how Alpharius saved Alpharius from Alpharius who was actually just pretending to be Alpharius
  • @stripeybag6977
In the Alpharious book it was neat to see his POV on everyone's relationships with each other.
  • @rhadamanthu
I really think Ferrus and Fulgrim were meant to complete each other. Fulgrim had the ambition to create perfection in everything and Ferrus had the determination to get the job done. Likewise, when Fulgrim turned traitor Ferrus turned emotionally. And when Ferrus lost his life Fulgrim lost his will to live and caved to the daemon blade. Tragic.
  • Alpharius and Dorn were almost diametrically opposed. One honest, unable to lie, the other being literally Alpharius. Alpha legion focusing on stealthy infiltration while the Fists turn mountains into walls
  • The Khan and Magnus have good relationship, Khan go to Magnus first when he confused and didnt know wtf happened in Horus Heresy
  • @DarthAzabrush
Dorn was actually legitimately terrified of Curze long before their bust up as Malcador revealed to him in his psychic interrorgation in "The Lightning Tower." Morty and Curze got on like a house on fire... mostly because they both enjoyed setting houses on fire. Magnus spotted Curze's incredible psychic potential from their first meeting on Nostramo and gifted him with a psy reactive crystal orb that would allow him to focus his powers. Unfortunately Curze thought it was a paperweight and forgot about it.
