C. S. Lewis - Answers to Questions on Christianity

When I was a very new believer, I dabbled with the Jehovah's Witnesses a bit and attended some of their study groups. I never considered myself one, and I assumed they were just another denomination. One time I went to a JW study group and I quoted CS Lewis' "Mere Christianity." An older lady looked at me like I had just snorted a line of cocaine in the middle of church. Another fellow leaned over to me and whispered, "We don't discuss CS Lewis here." "Uh... why not? He's considered one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century." "But he wasn't a Jehovah's Witness." "...and...?" Later that evening they also told that Jesus was merely an angel and the "sprit brother" of Lucifer. After that I was done with them.

In the church, I worked hard attempting to "save" people and finally realized it was simple... just Love. Be Humble, Listen, Support, Share and Love as Jesus Christ Loved. Not - I luv this or that but rather I Love you because I see that you're hurting, struggling and desiring real Love and Jesus Christ. Now I work hard to follow God's Will and open myself up so God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can flow through me. God bless you.

As one who has always ran from God, it's amazing how I'm always drawn back. Pull 1 string and it leads back to where one belongs. C S Lewis has always been able to reconcile both this world and God's world. I'm still working on it.

We need more thinkers & speakers like C.S.Lewis!

His answers require so much thought but so much comfort when drawing a conclusion. Thank God for C. S. Lewis.

I enjoy that after all these years of listening to CS Lewis, his unique way of looking at things and articulating his thoughts, that i am challenged to consider my thoughts and opinions still

I’ve never heard of this man until I came hear and listened. Now I think he was truly remarkable. He would be pleased to know people are listening to this decades later.

CS Lewis was one of the greatest Christian thinkers of all time

Before CS was a believer he was many other things , an atheist and an occultist , but God sought him and redeemed him. I can say the same for myself

I think Ralph cosham was the best narrator of Lewis work,his voice just seems to give it that correct texture

I love CS Lewis. He helped me so much in my faith and understanding Theology of little better And I'm so glad to see that in the modern era that people still recognize the importance of CS Lewis and his writings

Wow! I was staring at the screen for 13 minutes while listening before I saw the lion in the smoke. I was pondering how the artist 'over-did' it drawing the smoke and that it was much too busy to be realistic, lol. Very cool!
