  • I was born into no faith. I was not influenced by my parents, never went to church, wasn't christened. I came into Christianity into my adulthood. Jesus Christ is the way and is changing my life more and more each day. I love you Jesus. Thank you for dying for my sins and everyone else's

I grew up in Islam, yes a Muslim. That's what my father practiced. But Jesus touch me when I was searching for my purpose. And lo and behold! Jesus Jesus Jesus Christ! Will open your blind eyes to The truth and the light and the way and the love and the character and the humble and the change and the real you. God bless the human race and touch us all our Father! Our Father, Our Father. Not your Father, our Father, not her Father, our Father! Not their Father, Our Father! Bless this earth continuously!
  • I was born into a Buddhist family and converted in my adulthood to Christianity. Truly Jesus is the One and Only God the I AM.

I was born into a Wiccan family and converted into Christianity as an adult. I had a powerful encounter where I came face to face with Jesus. He is real and He is alive.

My rock bottom came one night and I felt terror and despair throughout my being. I made no excuse for my sins, I begged for God to forgive me. I did not want to ever sin again. I did not ever want to disappoint Him again. Immediately after my prayer to Almighty God, my guilt vanished, my suffering from it vanished, my self loathing vanished. I had genuinely felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit, I had genuinely experienced what I had heard so many give testimony to, I had genuinely felt the burden and the guilt of sin lifted from me and in its place was left the most incredible peace that no song had ever prepared me for. It is indescribable through words, truly. I was a man who constantly doubted everything, who made negative, everything. I have always been difficult to convince of anything foreign to me and yet of my Salvation there is no doubt. My anger is gone, my envy and greed is gone. My wicked desires are gone and I have a love for this Supreme being we call Almighty God and a desire to only serve Him and worship Him now and always. My every thought is of Him. I feel Him in everything, I see His work in everything. I cannot stop thinking of Him, I don't want to stop thinking of Him. I weep everyday with joy thinking of Him. This is why we were created, to worship Him, to serve Him and to love Him forever. When I think of Heaven, I only want Him. When I think of eternity with Him, it's not long enough. I have literally stood inside a door and pulled myself into the jamb and held it tightly wishing it were Jesus Christ and longing more for Him than my next breath. I cry because I can't contain what is in me and I don't know how to express it into words to tell others. It overwhelms me, it consumes me and I want more and more. I've never been more certain of anything and I want to grab hold of unbelievers and shake them into submission yet I cannot. I can only tell them what God has done for me and that He revealed Himself to me and pray that one day they too will understand the truth as I have.

I've been a born again Christian almost forty years, and this has been one of the single most clear, concise apologies for the truth, I've heard in a cool, calm voice. I can almost picture Mr. Lewis speaking. This was a beautiful speaking of a profound man. Thank you very much.
  • Listening to the wisdom of C.S. Lewis helps me deal with bouts of depression. I find myself listening a lot.

I was a once a foul Daedra worshipper, but by the grace of the divines I am now free.
  • @hartfully
Never heard the case for Christ so eloquently and logically expressed. The brilliant mind of C S Lewis makes the difficult mysteries so clear and logical that faith grows just from the beauty of the the way he is able to express the truth.

My favorite way Jesus claimed his identity was in Matthew how it is recorded the angel told Mary his name would be Immanuel "God is with us" and that gospel concludes with the statement: "Behold I am with you always..."
  • @Antihero297
C.S. Lewis destroyed the whole New Age "Jesus was one of many teachers" thing before it even became a thing.

Jesus Christ is my anchor on these troubled waters, and a storm is coming but we will not fear, we have everlasting life through Jesus.
  • I was born into the faith but I was not living accordingly, I lived like the world lived and when something happened to me that was truly terrible , GOD showed me mercy , for he loves us all. Today I know who I was and who I have become for I feel the distinction between the me that belonged to the world long ago ,and the me that belongs to Christ presently and for eternity.
  • Oh to have a friend or even a companion with the mind and eloquence of CSL who is able to speak his faith "without fear or favour" Such conviction "is worthy of all men to be received" May CSL rest in peace and rise in glory.
  • 5:41 “...a, we may note in passing, that He was never regarded as a mere moral teacher; He did not produce that effect on any of the people who actually met a Him...He produced, mainly 3 effects: Hatred, Terror, Adoration ... there was no trace of people expressing mild approval...”
  • Actually listening to someone read the Bible truly brings peace to my soul, not gonna lie.
