I preordered my original ally. So guess what? I’ll never buy another asus handheld again in my life. There are other choices, they aren’t getting my money anymore.

I've just bought the original Ally, as it was on offer. The micro SD slot doesn't work. I'm very pleased to say I'll be taking it to the store, and not dealing with ASUS.

Personally i had to rma twice for a screen defect on my rog ally amd they replaced the panel twice free of charge

How well does sleep work on handheld devices? If you're playing a game purchased from steam, can you put the device to sleep and instantly continue where you left off 4 hours later? Will the device drain battery during its sleep state?

I just get my rog ally z1 and i will switch for the X for sure i only got 2 weeks use is better then spend abother memory evn tha i gat more battery and let see about sd card works better then the first version

Are there actually any good USB4 compatible eGPUs out there? I would love the idea of getting a portable with an eGPU and have the single unit be both my portable and desktop PC, but cost aside, does the hardware even exist to make that possible?

I already ordered a 4tb ssd for the X. Can't wait for this system

New to these but for gaming on the go can I play my purchased xbox games like assassins creed 3 or do I need to have gamepass. Thanks, newb when it comes to these things.

I love how this can play anything without fuss 😆 Windows 🪟 properly which is a win win. 🏆 Was wondering with all that Ram & turbo boost mode. A big plus ➕️ for me is whether games 🎮 like Cyberpunk 2077 & Elden Ring can be played in Ultra Graphics. Possibly with Ray Tracing assets. Can the X handle it without additional hardware. If it's £800 quid I'd see it as probs a good investment. Quickly turning into a handheld collector. What do you feel . Need your advice or help

Do you perhaps know if the Asus Rog Ally X battery can be used in the older Rog ally Z1?

Got both Ally and Legion go, i wish if Ally software engineers meet with Legion hardware engineers and create one machine.
