Use Soak to Catch Pokémon Easier!

Sooo... I tried catching Chi-Yu the other day and ran out of Timer Balls while doing so and started throwing whatever I had in my bag at it. To my surprise I caught it in a Net Ball and figured it must have been because I used soak earlier in battle. Tried the same thing with Ting-Lu to see if soak really does increase the catch rate.
