Claude Schnell is such class act! Take this from a HUGE dio fan: The band was never the same without your keyboard sound.

Best Dio-related interview ever! I like how Claude is just being honest, and he really does seem to be telling the truth about it all. A musician that should get more recognition today...

Great interview!. I love how candid Claude is. Cool guy.

Very cool interview. Nice to hear Claude's side of the story.
  • Loved the Sacred Heart album and live show! Nothing better than Dio sword fighting dragons in front of a live audience!

First time I have heard Claude talk and what a great, talented and then a totally grounded guy. To have worked with Hughes/Thrall and Ronnie James Dio. I only saw Claude in Birmingham U.K in 1984 on the ‘Last In Line’ Tour. If their is ever a proper, full on ( business wise) Hughes/Thrall, I hope Claude gets the call!

One of the best interviews of all time. Thank you Claude!

Would have liked to have heard Claude's contribution on "Egypt *the chains are on)"

I didn't know Claude Schnell was involved with Hughes/Thrall band. As I know Peter Schless played keyboards on their debut (and only) album. I guess he joined the band towards the very end. Great Interview btw!

Craig's playing was fabulous on Dream Evil, and the raw emotion and pathos on "All the Fools Sailed Away" is amazing! Based on Sacred Heart I can't imagine how Viv would have been better.
