Brother you have always covered the KOTOR remake with sith such optimism that you're updates alone have always provided hope for the project, and now it's backed up by something official. Cannot wait for future coverage and the legendary review WHEN it comes out!

I hope the KOTOR remake goes well, mainly because I want to see KOTOR 2 get a remake. Though since most recent game remakes have flopped, I'm not holding out much hope..

Ever since BG3 won game of the year I knew there was hope for the Kotor remake. I genuinely think they can they can keep the combat style and it will still slap.

I just finished my playthrough of the original KOTOR and KOTOR 2 this/ last week. Both were VERY good games. Looking forward to see what they end up doing with 'em!

A remaster is cool, but it’s nothing to lose sleep over. The era of well developed games is long gone and it’s high time we accept it.

"Exceeding consumer expectations" is a bold claim to make, but then again my expectations are already exceeded by knowing that this game is still in active development. Jokes aside tho, I am not sure about Saber is able to pull this off. It's a masterpiece that they should treat with the utmost care.

I’m really hoping that KOTOR Remake does follow BG3 and have a turn based combat system. As much as people say it’s outdated, it’s clear there’s still a strong community that wants games like that, myself included. It’d be nice to have a good, updated retreading of fun gameplay styles that have been abandoned because they’re considered outdated

I hope that the gameplay concept didn’t change too much. I for one loved the idea of the KOTOR remake having the same hybrid combat system that the remake for Final Fantasy 7 had

Honestly I think all of these obstacles will just serve as pressure to deliver a better quality game. I seriously doubt that they can make a version of Kotor that comes anywhere near the S Tier ranking of the originals. But of course, I want them to succeed, but it will only be great if the people making it put a lot of passion and care into it.

Somehow the kotor music playing while showing BG3 gameplay oddly fits well. I'm crying from utter happiness with the news on the game. I can't wait to hear more.
