This is not like the simulations at all…
-
Forgot to mention that the two added characters were stolen from a modder. Said modder datamined the game to check and is not credited anywhere.
-
It gets even better with just how bad of a job this "remaster" is regarding the console exclusive characters. Asajj Ventress is was literally just a skin swap using a community made mod of another character. People even data mined the game and found it. So the devs stole a mod and put that in the game and tried to pass it of as their work.
-
Don't forget; the devs took someone's mod to add the 'new' heroes - and it was the broken outdated version. And then lied about it. (*noticed in the trailers, confirmed after the game came out and people looked at the game code)
-
The thing with this version that makes it a "Remaster" is that they AI UPSCALED THE TEXTURES. THAT'S IT. THAT'S WHAT THOSE 15 EXTRA BUX GO TO.
-
I'm all bricked up
-
Best response I heard when this came out was "They took a completed game and made it incomplete."
-
And the greatest part even still is that the lesson that the higher-ups will learn is not that they should work harder on porting and remastering, they will falsely learned that people do not like Battlefront so they shouldn't be doing any more of these
-
3:48 Honestly, I think they DID succeed in bringing the games up to modern standards
-
The battlefront curse continues. I hope these never touch kotor again
-
The really sad part is this isn't even remotely the first time a "remaster" of this low quality has happened. It's just another one on the pile of Silent Hill HD Collection, GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition and many, many more. And much like the GTA Trilogy debacle we know that a lot of the problems come from it just being badly AI upscaled.
-
Ah, Bricky didn't even mention that those console exclusive heroes where actually them just stealing some guys mod to add them into BF2, that he built from scratch. And not even a newer version of it, like an old out dated one before he made custom animations when he just mapped them onto existing skeletons and slapped their abilities together out of reusing other units abilities
-
If it makes you feel any better Bricky, Aspyr was already being "punished" by having the KOTOR Remake literally being ripped from them and given to another studio due to basically being fuck-ups, all of that happening BEFORE Classic Edition came out and whoever greenlit that ripping is probably really fucking happy they did that.
-
The real question is, why isn't this considered a corporate crime? Sure, we all view it as one, but why isn't it ACTUALLY a crime to do shit like this?
-
In true Bricky fashion. In his video about a game being so bad, he enters deep thought and ponders. He spells the word "philosophical" wrong. One of the greatest minds of our time.
-
"Miyazaki could add two more swamps before hitting that size" I died
-
the idea of bricky getting SO mad he MUSES and even mayhaps PONDERS is exciting

We need a consumer protection agency that stops terrible products like this from being released to the market. An FDA for consumer goods, so this shit gets blocked at a government level. At what point does this just become a scam?
-
Aspyr are such incompetent developers that I'm sure their name is actually supposed to be "Aspire" and they just don't know how to spell it.
