I never understand why people go to dangerous places for vacation.

I’m very sorry this happened but sadly this is the norm for countries like Mexico or places that have dangerous cartels or gang members. Just because you’re a foreigner/tourist doesn’t mean they’re gonna show mercy towards you and will carry out whatever torture they can imagine towards you if you were to cross paths with them (or even walk by them)

I am more sorry for your loss, than I can express… I can only say it so many times before it looses meaning. My country used to be such a warm and beautiful place, and it has become this dark and disturbed place that I no longer recognize. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive us all, because, in some small part, I feel we all bear some responsibility for this… I know first hand what it is to loose a child, and I so hope you didn’t have to go through this, and I pray that you eventually find some measure of peace and solace in their memory… ❤
