Iraq as a country was never affected by this conflict. Everything was functioning normally. No bombs or anything of that kind was heard by citizens unless they bordered Iran. However, many Iraqi soldiers were taken hostages for a decade so that was a great loss. The man being interviewed was spot on, very intelligent and eloquent. I wish I could say the same for the current so called Iraqi politicians. Unfortunately they fall into the retarded category. Iraq has indeed gone back to medieval times in contrast to that video which shows a civilised peaceful society.

Iraq is so fascinating to me. It looks incredible. I wish things could have gone differently.

  • Several Iraqis surely had good times when Saddam was in power up until tyrannical Bush and Blair bought chaos and disorder in 2003 which still continues to this day.

How supportive the media seemed like in favour of Iraq and Saddam Hussein in this war.

Iraq/Mesopotamia died twice. Once when Babylonians sold Assyrian empire to the Median Empire, and second death was when the Mongols sacked Baghdad.

Some of my relatives went to both Iraq and Libya in the 80's from Bangladesh at a time where millions of Bangladeshi engineers, doctors and migrant workers where going there. It was the time when both of those countries where at the same level of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. Thank you Bush and Obama, you guys did a wonderful job!
