i swear to god hearing news about america is like 'we just overturned the baby kicking bill! finally people will stop kicking babies all the time!' like bro what the fuck is going on over there
  • @ShinySwalot
"Oops! All wins" edition sounds like the type of nightmare an EA executive would have
  • @jisfl7976
The cheese balls guy actually sounds so nice. He reminds me of the guy in Japan that dressed up as Batman and drove around in a Batmobile and said he did it because he wanted to “give people a reason to smile”
  • @NickFriends
Imagine signing a "noncompete agreement" as a sandwich artist. "Yeah it is crucial for the existence of our company that this man can only make sandwiches for us"

Lina Khan is a personal hero, low key one of the only things that makes me hopeful for the future of antitrust legislation
  • @乂
Lina Khan is a hero. Huge win for the FTC.

Shout out to you for pointing out a powerful person doing the unthinkable— actually fighting for the public even though she could undoubtedly guarantee herself incredibly lucrative placement on any number of boards, if she’d only let Apple make it so iPhones bricked themselves every time a new model launched or something. People with morals making it into incredibly powerful positions and keeping their integrity is so rare and it’s great that you’re acknowledging it, she needs to be illuminated to give Brandog a little pressure that could make him think twice about giving her the axe to appease lobbyists.

The fact that lawyers didn't enforce non-competes against other lawyers is kinda funny. Like anyone who studied law long enough to be a lawyer recognized that it's a really fucked up law and and collectively agreed against any friendly fire using it.
  • @COIN_a
If lina khan keeps this up shes going to end up 'retiring' early
  • @turbotoke8882
It has been said that Lina Khan blocked Drakes acquisition of a good diss track
  • @aggapuffin
"This is Incredibly Evil." "Today, it's all wins." I don't believe you, Atrioc.
  • @gingeral253
If Lina Khan is actually doing good stuff, we need to make sure she stays in her position. It’s rare that there are good bureaucrats that actually help us.
  • @jariilo
i got laid off in September and my non-compete (that they had me sign for an entry level position) stopped me from getting four different jobs in the industry. Literally after the ban 2/4 companies hmu asking if id still be interested in the position. Pumped i might be able to go back into my industry i enjoy lol edit: LITERALLY ALREADY GOT A JOB AT THE PLACE I WANTED LMAO
  • @dylanthrills
Bro I found your channel yesterday and I’m so addicted. The videos are fast but not too fast. They are funny and smart. And the topics are the best.
  • @ajyoung1234
Lina Khan and Cheeseball man, the two heroes the earth needs right now
  • @bensantos7361
This Non Compete ban is actual a magical thing to happen. Blessings in 2024
  • As a person who has done some work in the insurance industry: Holy smokes I can't believe the human wagering thing is happening. It is so very explicit about how illegal that is when getting your license. There's extra regulations on how you have to approach selling to the elderly just because of that. I imagine the insurance companies are going to be quite involved with this lawsuit.
