I love that you chose the “baby machine” lyric for ferncloud at the start. It fits so well for how the fandom treated her character unfortunately

“If we had a daughter” hits hard with me for Snowfur. Her and Thistleclaw had only one kit, a son. Thinking if Whitekit had been she-cat, the look of “what would you have done..” on her face gives me chills.

FUCK the transition from Moth Flight at "Nymph then a virgin" to Leafpool at "nurse then a servant" was outstanding

Its interesting how Ferncloud's scenes is seemingly more pointed towards the way fandom treats her seeing as she seems to be the only one here happy with the life she has

With the first part with snowfur and thistleclaw must have been a horrible moment when she noticed how horrible her own mate was. And the way she tries to protect mosskit is honestly kind of heartbreaking.

I never like how Moth Flight judge Leafpool so harshly over something that StarClan specifically told her to do and that also Moth Flight was in a similar, if not the almost same position that Leafpool was in. Both of them lost their mates only to find out they were pregnant afterwards, had to give up their kits in order to keep their role as a medicine cat, and both were very young at the time. You would think that she would have a little more sympathy for Leafpool over what happened, especially since it was StarClan itself that encouraged her to run off with Crowfeather and have her kits.

I love that you made Thistleclaw extra fluffy and "blocky", and over 2 times Spottedpaw's size to show the huge age gap and how major the gr**ming was. The "24/7 Baby Maker" is also perfect for Ferncloud; I personally love her character but apparently lots of the fandom sees her as, well, a 24/7 baby machine. The way you also showed how much pain Leafpool has gone through by cutting from teaching Jaypaw, her own son, to being almost poisoned by Hollyleaf, her daughter, to getting scolded by StarClan, even though they are the ones who told her to do what she thought was right is amazing! In all, this is an awesome PMV and I will 100% be rewatching it a ton of times!

I love Ferncloud’s part because, this is how I interpreted it, the “baby machine” is pointing towards how the fandom treats her rather than how Dustpelt treats her because they had a pretty loving and happy relationship (even though there was a moderate age gap).

I really like Heathertail’s inclusion in here, because she’s never really brought up when talking about struggles any character has gone through

I already cried so much listening to the song alone but THIS, this is beautiful. People often don’t realise (or choose to ignore) all of the she-cats’ struggles in the series and it’s amazing how as the fandom grows older, we see more problematic things and call them out. Your content is amazing!

''warrior cats is just a kids book'' That might be true as a young child you don't recognise the problems. Most of the time people talk about the gore of warrior cats (the kitting of silverstream, tigerstar's first death, swfitpaw mauled by dogs and so on) The problems with she-cats is so overlooked and that's sad 9/10 times if we get an important she-cat with an interesting personality she falls in love and loses most of her personality and gets kittens that's it. I love how this PMV shows that problem, I love the designs, the song choice, which lyrics with which cat. I barely saw any comments on this, but how ashfur attacks squirrelflight is so beautiful. It shows how the she-cats are seen in the books (which also happens in real life sadly) they're seen as baby machines, kind-hearted and (from view of Ashfur) just a thing to 'claim'

The scene with Spottedleaf is so amazing! I love how you include Snowfur seeing Thistleclaw from Starclan and being furious, I’ve never imagined that before and it makes the situation so much more heartbreaking!
